The Local Funding Audit (LFA) team visited District Naushero Feroz and observed the Chest Camp held at Village Alam Barohi
Hamdard Medical Center
and Fahad Medical Center.
During the visit, the team:

✔️ Assessed treatment mechanisms
✔️ Conducted interviews with the field team & with GPs working with Bridge Consultant Foundation (BCF) in PPM project

19 September 2025: Dr. Sharaf Ali Shah, Public Health Physician and Infectious Diseases Epidemiologist/Researcher specialized in STIs, HIV/AIDS, and Tuberculosis, invited as a Guest Speaker at the 5th Pakistan Health Care Summit and Health Care Awards, organized by the Consumers Association of Pakistan at Pearl Continental Hotel, Karachi.

(BCF) – TB Program

In the Photo: a dedicated BCF female TB Screener from the rural district of Tharparkar, is providing services to a TB patient at the BCF–PPM TB Health Facility, Al-Khidmat Hospital, Tharparkar.

BCF is actively working across 15 districts of Sindh province (covering 50% of the province’s districts), contributing to the detection and treatment of around 25,000 TB cases annually.

The program operates through an extensive network of:

- 1,500+ private health facilities serving as diagnosis and treatment sites
- 100+ microscopy centers
- 13 GeneXpert sites, and

Alongwith field force of 150+ field supervisors, counselors, TB screeners, xpert technicians and riders who ensure community-level engagement, case finding, and treatment adherence.

This initiative highlights BCF’s commitment to strengthening the Public–Private Mix (PPM) model, improving access to TB services, and reducing the TB burden in underserved communities of Sindh.
