From deserts to coastlines, their voices become acts of resilience, preserving culture, confronting climate and social change, and transforming melody into power.

These women don’t just perform music; they protect memory, dignity, and identity through rhythm.

Meet Muhammad Faheem a peace advocate, filmmaker, and founder of Mehrdar Art & Production, a youth-led organization dedicated to advancing community development through impactful dialogue, art and digital media.

Since 2013, he has produced films, organized festivals, and led fellowships on cultural diversity, peacebuilding, gender-based violence, and ethnic harmony, engaging and inspiring young people and communities at the grassroots level.

In 2020, Faheem established Mehr-Ghar, Lyari’s first arts-based community space, offering workshops, exhibitions, screenings, research opportunities, and fellowships that foster social awareness and civic engagement.

At TEDxLyari 2025, He will take the stage to share his journey, his ideas, and the power of people to transform futures through adaptive leadership.

For the past four years, Mehr-Ghar has been a space for learning, creativity, community engagement, and open dialogue - bringing together young people, women, changemakers, and artists to make a difference.

Since 2013, Our Organziation Mehrdar Art & Production we have directly engaged over 200,000 individuals across diverse communities, educational institutions, social organizations, and community centers.

Our initiatives focus on raising awareness and advocating for human rights, peace, heritage & culture, social justice, and equity.

We achieve this through dynamic mediums such as visual storytelling, films, interactive dialogues, capacity-building programs, and festivals.

In 2021, we took a significant step forward by launching Mehr-Ghar, a vibrant community space in Lyari—a hub for networking, learning, and collaboration.

Mehr-Ghar was honored at the KHI Awards 2025 by K-Electric for its dedication to revitalizing Lyari’s cultural landscape and providing an alternative, independent, and safe community space for local discourse.
