Honorary Consulate of Moldova in Pakistan

Mr. Kashif Ali, Hon. Consul of the Republic of Moldova in Karachi, hosted a distinguished Eid Dinner, bringing together an esteemed gathering of Diplomats, VIP Delegates, Business leaders, and Influencers. The evening served as a valuable networking platform, fostering meaningful connections, cultural exchange, and future collaborations in a warm and festive atmosphere.

A dinner reception was hosted by Mr. Ishtiaq Baig in honor of Yang Yundong, Consul General of China, to celebrate the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China.

The event brought together Consul Generals, Honorary Consuls, Diplomats, Government officials, Parliamentarians, prominent business leaders, and other distinguished guests, highlighting the longstanding friendship and strong bilateral ties between the two nations.

Ambassador Ilyas Nizami paid a courtesy call on H.E. Ms. Corina Călugăru, State Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova, on 26 May 2026. The meeting took place following his presentation of credentials as concurrently accredited Ambassador to the Republic of Moldova.

Ambassador Nizami felicitated Ambassador Călugăru on her recent assumption of the office of State Secretary.

Both sides took stock of the current state of bilateral relations, and explored the opportunities for their expansion. They expressed satisfaction over the present level of support to each other’s candidatures at various multilateral forums. They also agreed to enhance bilateral political dialogue.

Ambasadorul Ilyas Nizami a efectuat o vizită de curtoazie la E.S. doamna Corina Călugăru, Secretar de Stat în cadrul Ministerului Afacerilor Externe al Republicii Moldova, în data de 26 mai 2026. Întrevederea a avut loc în urma prezentării scrisorilor de acreditare în calitate de ambasador acreditat concomitent în Republica Moldova.

Ambasadorul Nizami a felicitat-o pe doamna Ambasador Corina Călugăru cu ocazia recentei preluări a funcției de Secretar de Stat.

Cele două părți au trecut în revistă stadiul actual al relațiilor bilaterale și au analizat posibilitățile de consolidare a acestora. De asemenea, și-au exprimat satisfacția față de nivelul actual al sprijinului reciproc acordat candidaturilor celor două state în cadrul diferitelor foruri multilaterale. De asemenea, au convenit asupra intensificării dialogului politic bilateral.
