PRMSC staff, in collaboration with the World Bank TCAF (Transformative Climate Asset Facility) technical mission, conducted a field visit to Tehsil Bhawana, Chiniot, with the objective of establishing the baseline for the PRSWSSP PIN (Project Information Note). The primary purpose of this visit was to assess the current conditions in the villages and gain a better understanding of the local context to create a solid foundation for the PRSWSSP PIN. This was done with a specific focus on Emission Reduction and Mitigation Initiatives. During the visit, potential risks and challenges were identified, and strategies for mitigation were discussed to enhance the project's resilience. CEO/PD PRMSC, Mr. Asadullah, also reviewed the ongoing construction activities at the site, assessing the quality of work, adherence to safety regulations, and compliance with the project's specifications. Mr. Asadullah directed the contractors to complete construction activities within the provided timelines and emphasized the importance of efficient coordination and communication among all involved parties to eliminate potential bottlenecks.

The Infrastructure Engineer PRMSC Mr. Umair ali paid a visit to various sites and the Tehsil Office of the PRMSC-LG&CD Department in Bahawalnagar. During these site visits, he held meetings with the PRMSC team, the consultant, and the contractor. The purpose of that visit and meeting was likely to boost the morale of the teams and sensitize them to the importance of completing the work on priority villages within the specified time frames. It's important to ensure that infrastructure projects progress according to the set timelines to benefit the communities they serve.
