PRMSC staff, in collaboration with the World Bank TCAF (Transformative Climate Asset Facility) technical mission, conducted a field visit to Tehsil Bhawana, Chiniot, with the objective of establishing the baseline for the PRSWSSP PIN (Project Information Note). The primary purpose of this visit was to assess the current conditions in the villages and gain a better understanding of the local context to create a solid foundation for the PRSWSSP PIN. This was done with a specific focus on Emission Reduction and Mitigation Initiatives. During the visit, potential risks and challenges were identified, and strategies for mitigation were discussed to enhance the project's resilience. CEO/PD PRMSC, Mr. Asadullah, also reviewed the ongoing construction activities at the site, assessing the quality of work, adherence to safety regulations, and compliance with the project's specifications. Mr. Asadullah directed the contractors to complete construction activities within the provided timelines and emphasized the importance of efficient coordination and communication among all involved parties to eliminate potential bottlenecks.

The Infrastructure Engineer PRMSC Mr. Umair ali paid a visit to various sites and the Tehsil Office of the PRMSC-LG&CD Department in Bahawalnagar. During these site visits, he held meetings with the PRMSC team, the consultant, and the contractor. The purpose of that visit and meeting was likely to boost the morale of the teams and sensitize them to the importance of completing the work on priority villages within the specified time frames. It's important to ensure that infrastructure projects progress according to the set timelines to benefit the communities they serve. To achieve these benefits, project managers, contractors, and all involved parties must work together to plan, monitor, and execute projects efficiently, keeping a close eye on timelines and taking corrective action when necessary to ensure projects stay on track.

The World Bank's delegation visited the PRMSC Head Office on September 28, 2023, led by Ms. Dina Umali Deininger World Bank South Asia Regional Director for Sustainable Development, followed by Ms. Nora Kaoues, Lead Agriculture Economist, Josses Mugabi, World Bank Practice Manager and other members. The CEO of PRMSC warmly welcomed the World Bank representatives and conducted a comprehensive presentation that encapsulated the extensive documentary and project progress achieved thus far. The presentation not only showcased the dedication and hard work put forth by PRMSC but also demonstrated their commitment to transparency and accountability in project management. The documentary provided a comprehensive overview of the project's inception, its strategic goals, and the tangible outcomes achieved to date. Through detailed progress reports, the CEO highlighted key achievements, milestones, and challenges encountered, offering valuable insights into the project's trajectory. The visit not only allowed for a deeper understanding of the project but also fostered an environment of cooperation and mutual learning between the two entities, reinforcing their dedication to the project's ultimate success.

The World Bank Technical Team and Chairman of the board Secretary Local Government and Community Development Department had a meeting at the Civil Secretariat, key discussions revolved around strategies and initiatives aimed at fostering the development and financial stability of the PRSWSSP. The World Bank Team appreciated the ongoing construction progress of PRMSC.
They also discussed the challenges, bottlenecks, and future goals of the project. The chairman of the Board expressed his commitment to advancing the World Bank's mission and emphasized the significance of inclusive growth and sustainable practices in shaping a better future for all.

The World Bank Technical Team and PRMSC Staff conducted a field visit to the Village Gahi, Kalar Kahar, Chakwal to review the construction activities, and lessons learned during the engineering design. The World Bank team visited the construction site for the Overhead Reservoir and Sewerage Treatment Plant. The World Bank representatives assessed various aspects of the project's implementation and its impact on the community. They interacted with residents, project beneficiaries, and key stakeholders to gather feedback and insights. Additionally, the World Bank team assessed the sustainability of the project and its alignment with the original goals and objectives. They considered any challenges or obstacles faced during implementation and discussed potential solutions with local authorities and project partners.

The Social & BCC Specialist/ Team Lead BCCD along with the Gender Specialist/Co-Team Lead attended the Orientation Session of BCCD field staff of M/s WaterAid, SPO JV. The staff was briefed about the project interventions of PRSWSSP and the role of BCCD program.
