Classes will commence from Monday, 10 March 2025.

HSK and HSKK Official Test - April 12,2025.

The Confucius Institute at the University of the Punjab is pleased to announce the upcoming official HSK and HSKK (speaking) tests on April 12,2025.

📅 Test Date: April 12,2025.
📅 Registration Deadline: March 14, 2025 (Friday) by 2:00 p.m.

📍 How to Register:
1. Register online at chinesetest.cn.
2. For HSK/HSKK tests, apply online and print your application (separate applications for HSK and HSKK if applying for both).
3. Attach 1 recent passport-size photo.
4. Provide a copy of your CNIC/Passport (the one used during registration).
5. Submit the fee at the CIPU Admin Office.

Ensure all required documents and fees are submitted to the CIPU Admin Office before 2:00 p.m. on March 14, 2025.

Note: Seats are limited. Applications are only considered complete upon submission of fees and required documents.

International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship 2025

The Confucius Institute at the University of the Punjab is pleased to announce the availability of the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship (ICLTS) for 2025. This scholarship aims to support the professional development of Chinese language teachers worldwide and facilitate Chinese language education.

Eligibility Criteria:

Non-Chinese citizens aged between 16 and 35 years (with exceptions for certain programs)
Good physical and mental health
Demonstrated interest in Chinese language education
Meet specific academic qualifications based on the desired program

Scholarship Categories, Qualifications, and HSK Level Requirements:

Doctor's, Master's, and Bachelor's degree programs in International Chinese Language Education
HSK Level 6 for Doctor's degree
HSK Level 5 for Master's degree
HSK Level 4 for Bachelor's degree
One-year, one-semester, and four-week study programs
HSK Level 3 and above for one-year and one-semester programs

No specific HSK level requirement for four-week study program

Application Deadline: May 15, 2025
