The Drug Advisory Training Hub (DATH) continues to strengthen strategic partnerships for a safer and healthier drug free society.

H.E. Yasin Joyia, Patron-in-Chief DATH, had a productive meeting with Mr. Imran Kishwar DIG Admin Lahore at his office, where matters related to mutual collaboration and areas of shared interest were discussed.

The discussion focused on strengthening cooperation and exploring opportunities for joint initiatives in drug prevention, community engagement, and collective efforts towards building a safer and drug-free society.

Today, Syed Zulfiqar Hussain Consultant, Anti Drugs/Narcotics Campaign alongwith Syed Mohsin Vice Chairman Drug Advisory Training Hub (DATH) actively participated in the Consultative Meeting on “Prevention and Control of Narcotics in Punjab” organized by the Home Department, Government of Punjab.

During the meeting, DATH shared its ongoing initiatives and highlighted collaborative efforts with government departments focusing on drug prevention, awareness campaigns, youth engagement, capacity building, and community-based interventions aimed at building a healthier and safer society.

The meeting was presided over by Dr. Ahmed Javed Qazi Secretary Home, Government of the Punjab. It was also a pleasure meeting Col. (R) Amir Shahzad CEO PCC and discussing opportunities for stronger collaboration and collective action towards a drug-free and resilient Punjab.

DATH and National College of Arts Sign MoU

Drug Advisory Training Hub (DATH) and the National College of Arts (NCA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the second phase of collaboration to further strengthen joint efforts in promoting awareness initiatives, training programmes, and smoke and drug-free campus environments.

During the event, Syed Zulfiqar Hussain, Consultant Anti-Drugs/Narcotics Campaign, signed the MoU with Madam Bushra, Registrar, National College of Arts (NCA) & Prof. Dr. Murtaza Jafri VC NCA. The MoU was endorsed by Deputy Commissioner Lahore, Captain (R) Muhammad Ali Ejaz, reflecting his commitment towards the vision of a Drug-Free Lahore and strengthening collaborative efforts for prevention, awareness, and safer educational environments.

Syed Zulfiqar Hussain also briefed participants on the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Smoke and Drug-Free Campuses, emphasizing the importance of preventive measures, awareness campaigns, and strong institutional partnerships in addressing the growing challenge of substance abuse.

This partnership reflects a shared commitment towards empowering students, strengthening institutional collaboration, and creating safer educational environments for future generations.

NCA and DATH Join Hands to Raise Awareness Against Drug Abuse

The National College of Arts (NCA), in collaboration with Drug Advisory Training Hub (DATH), organised a Poster Exhibition Against Drug Abuse to raise awareness among students about the harmful effects of narcotics and the importance of building a healthy, responsible, and drug-free society.

The exhibition was formally inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Lahore, Captain (R) Muhammad Ali Ejaz, whose presence highlighted the importance of collective efforts in addressing substance abuse challenges.

The exhibition showcased thought-provoking artwork and creative expressions highlighting the social, psychological, and physical consequences of drug addiction, encouraging students and participants to play an active role in promoting healthier lifestyles and positive social values.

The event was also graced by Prof. Dr. Murtaza Jafri, Vice Chancellor, National College of Arts, Syed Zulfiqar Hussain, Consultant Anti Drugs/Narcotics Campaign, Syed Mohsin Vice Chairman DATH, Mr. Adeel Rashid Secretary General DATH along with distinguished guests and participants.
