LS-SWS was formed in 2006 and had its first official council formed in 2007. The Society was formed by Ms. Zainab Shah who was the Founding President.
Responding to natural or man-made disasters, LS-SWS's mission is to bring students of LSE together to alleviate human suffering with open hearts to all religions and open doors to all people. LS-SWS is a humanitarian, non-proselytizing society of the Lahore School of Economics.
