GC University Lahore celebrates World Book Day with a vibrant campaign led by the Library Society.
In a symbolic gesture, badges were pinned on faculty members and students by the Chief Librarian and the team GCU Library Society, along with the presentation of books and warm invitations to explore the Library's rich collection.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Omer Chaudhry
inaugurated the campaign, emphasizing the need to revive the culture of book reading and intellectual engagement among youth.

In a heartfelt tribute to Allama Iqbal on his death anniversary, the Library Society of Government College University (GCU) Lahore organized a special exhibition showcasing rare memorabilia linked to the national poet. The collection, curated by Mian Sajid Ali, featured postage stamps, coins, currency notes, and handwritten letters, including those by Justice (R)
Dr. Javed Iqbal. Inaugurated by Dr. Akhtar Hussain Sandhu, the event highlighted the importance of preserving Iqbal's intellectual and cultural heritage.
