زرعی یونیورسٹی پشاور میں آر ٹی ایس کمیشن کے زیرِ اہتمام آگاہی سیشن، طلبہ و فیکلٹی کو عوامی خدمات کے حق سے متعلق آگاہی
رائٹ ٹو پبلک سروسز کمیشن خیبر پختونخوا کے زیرِ اہتمام زرعی یونیورسٹی پشاور میں طلبہ اور فیکلٹی ممبران کے لیے ایک خصوصی آگاہی سیشن کا انعقاد کیا گیا، جس کا مقصد شرکاء کو آر ٹی ایس کمیشن کے قیام کے مقاصد، دائرۂ کار، قانونی حیثیت اور شہریوں کو بروقت و شفاف عوامی خدمات کی فراہمی کے حوالے سے آگاہی فراہم کرنا تھا۔
چیف کمشنر آر ٹی ایس کمیشن محمد علی شہزادہ نے سیشن سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے کمیشن کے قیام کے بنیادی مقاصد، ذمہ داریوں اور قانونی فریم ورک پر تفصیلی روشنی ڈالی۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ رائٹ ٹو پبلک سروسز قانون کا بنیادی مقصد شہریوں کو مقررہ مدت کے اندر سرکاری خدمات کی فراہمی یقینی بنانا اور عوام کو اپنی قانونی حیثیت اور حقوق سے آگاہ کرنا ہے۔ انہوں نے طلبہ پر زور دیا کہ وہ نہ صرف خود اپنے حقوق سے آگاہ ہوں بلکہ اپنے خاندانوں اور معاشرے کے دیگر افراد تک بھی اس پیغام کو پہنچائیں۔
کمشنر آر ٹی ایس کمیشن شوکت علی یوسفزئی نے شرکاء کے سوالات کے جوابات دیتے ہوئے آر ٹی ایس قانون کے عملی اطلاق، عوامی شکایات کے ازالے کے طریقہ کار اور شہریوں کو دستیاب قانونی سہولیات کے بارے میں تفصیلی وضاحت فراہم کی۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ عوامی آگاہی آر ٹی ایس قانون کے مؤثر نفاذ کے لیے بنیادی اہمیت رکھتی ہے اور تعلیمی ادارے اس حوالے سے مؤثر کردار ادا کر سکتے ہیں۔
سیشن کی میزبانی ڈائریکٹر اسپورٹس اینڈ یوتھ ڈویلپمنٹ سینٹر، بلال مروت نے کی۔ اس موقع پر طلبہ اور فیکلٹی ممبران نے آر ٹی ایس کمیشن کے کردار اور عوامی خدمات سے متعلق مختلف سوالات کیے اور سیشن میں بھرپور دلچسپی کا اظہار کیا۔
تقریب کے اختتام پر فیکلٹی آف مالیکیولر اینڈ بائیولوجیکل سائنسز کے ڈین ڈاکٹر اقبال منیر نے شرکاء کا شکریہ ادا کیا۔ انہوں نے آر ٹی ایس کمیشن کی جانب سے طلبہ اور فیکلٹی کے لیے آگاہی سیشن کے انعقاد کو سراہتے ہوئے عوامی خدمات سے متعلق شعور اجاگر کرنے کی اہمیت پر زور دیا۔ اس موقع پر ڈاکٹر اقبال منیر کی جانب سے چیف کمشنر محمد علی شاہزاد اور کمشنر شوکت علی یوسفزئی کو ان کی خدمات اور آگاہی کے فروغ میں کردار کے اعتراف میں شیلڈز بھی پیش کی گئیں۔

Awareness Session Organized by the RTS Commission at the University of Agriculture, Peshawar; Students and Faculty Briefed on the Right to Public Services
A special awareness session was organized at the University of Agriculture, Peshawar, under the auspices of the Right to Public Services Commission, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, for students and faculty members. The objective was to inform participants about the purpose, scope, legal status, and functions of the RTS Commission, as well as the provision of timely and transparent public services to citizens.
Chief Commissioner of the RTS Commission, Muhammad Ali Shahzada, addressed the session and provided a detailed overview of the Commission’s objectives, responsibilities, and legal framework. He stated that the primary purpose of the Right to Public Services law is to ensure the provision of government services to citizens within the stipulated time and to make the public aware of their legal status and rights. He urged students not only to become aware of their own rights but also to convey this message to their families and other members of society.
Commissioner of the RTS Commission, Shaukat Ali Yousafzai, responded to participants’ questions and provided a detailed explanation of the practical implementation of the RTS law, the procedure for addressing public complaints, and the legal facilities available to citizens. He said that public awareness is of fundamental importance for the effective implementation of the RTS law and that educational institutions can play an effective role in this regard.
The session was hosted by Bilal Marwat, Director of the Sports and Youth Development Center. On the occasion, students and faculty members asked various questions regarding the role of the RTS Commission and public services and expressed keen interest in the session.
At the conclusion of the event, Dr. Iqbal Munir, Dean of the Faculty of Molecular and Biological Sciences, thanked the participants. Appreciating the RTS Commission for organizing the awareness session for students and faculty, he emphasized the importance of promoting awareness about public services. On the occasion, Dr. Iqbal Munir also presented shields to Chief Commissioner Muhammad Ali Shahzad and Commissioner Shaukat Ali Yousafzai in recognition of their services and role in promoting public awareness.
