A meeting was held on 17.02.2026 in with all Divisional Directors and Additional Directors (SE/EE) of Multan, Bahawalpur, and Dera Ghazi Khan Divisions. The meeting was chaired by Ms. Abda Fareed, Deputy Secretary (Admn), School Education Department, South Punjab.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held regarding EARLY MORNING (SUBH-E-NAU) SCHOOLS, TRANSEDUCATION, and BORSTAL JAIL SCHOOL. Important matters related to implementation, monitoring, and further improvement of these initiatives were reviewed.
The session remained focused on strengthening educational delivery and ensuring effective coordination across all divisions. Valuable input was shared by the participants to enhance performance and outreach.

Worthy Special Secretary, Mr. Amin Awaisi, undertook a comprehensive visit to the Government Nusrat ul islan Girls High School, Multan, to assess the on-ground educational environment and facilities.
The Special Secretary personally visited active classrooms to observe the teaching-learning process firsthand. He noted the student-teacher interaction, pedagogical methods, and the overall academic atmosphere.
A thorough examination of the school's infrastructure was conducted. Particular emphasis was placed on observing the standards of cleanliness and hygiene maintained within classrooms, corridors, washrooms, and the school premises overall.
Reviewed academic records, teaching materials, and student work to gauge the quality of education being imparted. He interacted with school staff to discuss curriculum implementation, learning outcomes, and any existing challenges.

Worthy Secretary, School Education Department, Government of the Punjab, Lahore, Mr. Mudassar Riaz Malik chaired a comprehensive meeting in the Committee Room of the School Education Department, South Punjab, focusing on key priority areas of the education sector.

The meeting reviewed the preparedness of schools for re-opening, ensuring the facilities and a safe learning environment for students. Detailed discussions were also held on the School Meal Programme, with emphasis on nutrition, coverage, and effective implementation. The condition of dangerous and dilapidated school buildings was assessed to ensure student safety, while strategies to enhance student enrollment and retention were also deliberated. In addition, progress on other ongoing educational initiatives was reviewed.

During the visit to South Punjab, the worthy Secretary also conducted field visits to various schools in Multan, where he inspected academic and administrative arrangements, interacted with school staff, and issued on-the-spot directions for further improvement in service delivery and learning outcomes.
