تین سو ستائیسویں(327) ویں عالمی وساکھی فیسٹیول کیلئے پنجاب حکومت کے فول پروف انتظامات، اعلیٰ سطح اجلاس میں جائزہ*

*صوبائی وزرا رمیش سنگھ اروڑہ اور خواجہ سلمان رفیق کی زیر صدارت اعلیٰ سطح اجلاس، عالمی یاتریوں کے شاندار استقبال کی تیاری*

لاہور (30 مارچ) 327ویں عالمی وساکھی فیسٹیول کے انتظامات کا جائزہ لینے کیلئے محکمہ داخلہ پنجاب میں اعلیٰ سطح کا اجلاس منعقد ہوا، جس کی صدارت صوبائی وزیر اقلیتی امور رمیش سنگھ اروڑہ اور صوبائی وزیر و چیئرمین کابینہ کمیٹی برائے امن و امان خواجہ سلمان رفیق نے کی۔
اجلاس میں 327ویں عالمی وساکھی فیسٹیول کے انتظامات کا تفصیلی جائزہ لیا گیا۔ سیکرٹری داخلہ پنجاب ڈاکٹر احمد جاوید قاضی بھی اجلاس میں شریک ہوئے جبکہ ایڈیشنل سیکرٹری شرائنز ناصر مشتاق نے وساکھی میلے کے انتظامات پر بریفنگ دی۔
بریفنگ میں بتایا گیا کہ وساکھی میلہ 10 اپریل سے 19 اپریل تک جاری رہے گا، جس میں تقریباً 20 ہزار مقامی، 3 ہزار بھارت سے اور 3 ہزار دنیا بھر سے سکھ یاتری شرکت کریں گے۔ یاتری لاہور، ننکانہ صاحب، حسن ابدال، ایمن آباد، فاروق آباد اور کرتارپور نارووال سمیت مختلف مقدس مقامات کا دورہ کریں گے۔
صوبائی وزیر اقلیتی امور رمیش سنگھ اروڑہ نے اجلاس سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب نے مذہبی اقلیتوں کے تمام تہواروں میں شرکت کر کے ایک نئی روایت قائم کی ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ وساکھی ایک عالمی فیسٹیول ہے جس میں غیر ملکی سفارتکار بھی شرکت کریں گے، لہٰذا تمام ادارے باہمی تعاون سے پاکستان کا مثبت تشخص اجاگر کریں۔ انہوں نے متعلقہ عملے کو ہدایت کی کہ سکھ یاتریوں کے مذہبی جذبات اور روایات کا مکمل احترام یقینی بنایا جائے۔
صوبائی وزیر و چیئرمین کابینہ کمیٹی برائے امن و امان خواجہ سلمان رفیق نے کہا کہ حکومت پنجاب وساکھی فیسٹیول کیلئے فول پروف انتظامات کر رہی ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ دنیا بھر سے آنے والے مہمانوں کی بھرپور مہمان نوازی کی جائے گی جبکہ یاتریوں کی سکیورٹی اور آرام دہ قیام کیلئے خصوصی اقدامات کیے جا رہے ہیں۔ انہوں نے تمام ٹرانسپورٹ کیلئے فٹنس سرٹیفکیٹ لازمی قرار دینے کی ہدایت بھی کی۔
اجلاس میں ہدایت کی گئی کہ سینئر سٹیزن کاؤنٹرز، اضافی واش رومز، ہیوی ڈیوٹی جنریٹرز اور ایف آئی اے کے اضافی کاؤنٹرز قائم کیے جائیں۔ یاتریوں کیلئے وسیع لنگر، معیاری طبی سہولیات اور ایمبولینسز کی فراہمی یقینی بنائی جائے جبکہ تمام مقامات پر بروقت رسائی کیلئے لگژری بسوں کا انتظام کیا جائے۔
لیسکو حکام کو ہدایت کی گئی کہ فیسٹیول کے دوران بجلی کی بلا تعطل فراہمی یقینی بنائیں۔ مزید برآں، کرنسی ایکسچینج کیلئے مستند ڈیلرز کا انتخاب، ائیر کنڈیشنڈ مارکیز کی فراہمی اور تمام محکموں میں موثر کوآرڈینیشن کیلئے فوکل پرسنز کی نامزدگی یقینی بنانے کی ہدایت کی گئی۔
سیکرٹری داخلہ پنجاب ڈاکٹر احمد جاوید قاضی نے کہا کہ بین الاقوامی یاتریوں کیلئے بہترین انتظامات پاکستان کے مثبت تشخص کیلئے نہایت اہم ہیں۔ انہوں نے ہدایت کی کہ تمام مقامات پر رہائش، خوراک اور سکیورٹی کے فول پروف انتظامات یقینی بنائے جائیں۔
اجلاس میں متعلقہ محکموں کے اعلیٰ افسران جبکہ کمشنرز، آر پی اوز، ڈپٹی کمشنرز اور ڈی پی اوز نے ویڈیو لنک کے ذریعے شرکت کی۔

He expressed these views while addressing the inauguration ceremony of Dream House Orphanage in Bahria Town Phase 8 Islamabad. According to the details, the inauguration ceremony of Dream House Orphanage was held in Bahria town Phase 8 Islamabad. Provincial Minister for Minority Affairs Punjab Ramesh Singh Arora attended the ceremony as the chief guest. The Provincial Minister inaugurated Dream House Orphanage. Addressing the ceremony, Provincial Minister for Minority Affairs Punjab Ramesh Singh Arora said that helping orphans and helpless people is the real worship. The highest point of humanity is service to the people. Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif is the voice of the downtrodden and oppressed class. The entire nation stands with the Pakistani army. Minorities are not safe in India, the face of secular India has been exposed before the world. Empowering women and protecting the rights of minorities is the top priority of the government. It is the responsibility of every person to take care of the helpless people around them. Every section of the society will have to work together for national and social development. Later, Provincial Minister Ramesh Singh Arora visited Krishna Temple Rawalpindi. On this occasion, a delegation of the Hindu community gave suggestions to the Provincial Minister regarding the repair work of the temple. The Provincial Minister directed to complete the renovation work of the temple as soon as possible. Provincial Minister Ramesh Singh Arora also visited Haveli Sujan Singh. The concerned authorities briefed the provincial minister about the ongoing development work in Haveli Sujan Singh. On this occasion, the provincial minister said that in the light of the vision of the Chief Minister of Punjab, the work of beautification and decoration of the historical religious places of worship is underway. The members Provincial Assembly Punjab Asma Naz Abbasi, Tahira Mushtaq and officers of different departments were also present on this occasion.

Lahore (24 March): Following a tragic incident that occurred two days ago in Township, Lahore, where an 8-year-old girl lost her life, Provincial Minister for Minority Affairs, Ramesh Singh Arora, visited the bereaved family to offer condolences.

The Minister expressed heartfelt condolences to the parents and assured them of full support during this difficult time. Members of the Provincial Assembly, the Additional Secretary for Minority Affairs, and district administration officials were also present on the occasion.

Taking serious notice of the incident, Ramesh Singh Arora directed the concerned authorities to submit an immediate report and ensure prompt action. He stated that the death of the innocent child is deeply heartbreaking and emphasized the urgent need for an effective and comprehensive strategy to prevent such incidents.

He further asserted that those responsible will not be spared and strict action will be taken against them. The Minister reaffirmed that the government is committed to ensuring the safety and protection of citizens through concrete measures.

The Institute of Regional Studies, in collaboration with the Kazakhstan Embassy, organized a powerful Interfaith Dialogue aimed at promoting harmony among global faiths. The event brought together representatives from various religions and government institutions, united under one core message: peace is our shared path.

Ambassador Jahur Saleem and Federal Minister Sardar Yousaf highlighted the true essence of Islam as a religion of peace, compassion, and coexistence. From the Christian faith, Mr. Marcus and Kelly Johnson shared the message of love and sacrifice for humanity. State Minister Khel Daas represented the government and the Hindu community, underscoring the importance of unity and mutual respect.

Representing the Government of Punjab and the Sikh community, Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora delivered an inspiring address, stating:

“Let us choose peace by honoring our shared humanity, embracing our differences, and treating each other with kindness. When we stand together with respect and compassion, we build a society where everyone belongs and harmony can truly flourish.”

He further highlighted that the Kartarpur Corridor stands as a living symbol of Pakistan’s commitment to coexistence and respect for all faiths—transcending borders, differences, and divisions.

The Interfaith Dialogue concluded with a collective resolve to strengthen cooperation among diverse religious and cultural communities, and to continue working together for a peaceful, inclusive, and harmonious world.
