A Heartbreaking Crime Against Nature 💔🐻

A deeply disturbing video has emerged, reportedly from Diamer, showing three men mercilessly torturing a rare Himalayan black bear — a helpless creature whose only crime was existing in its natural home.

In the video, two of the men are seen throwing the bear’s body down a steep mountain cliff, after what appears to be horrifying abuse. It remains unclear if the bear was alive during the fall, but one thing is certain: this is cruelty beyond comprehension.

This gentle species, listed as Vulnerable on the IUCN Red List, is rapidly disappearing. The Himalayan black bear, native to Diamer, Astore, and parts of Skardu, plays a crucial role in our ecosystem — yet it continues to face brutal threats from humans.
How many more must suffer before we act?
We urge wildlife authorities and the Government of Gilgit-Baltistan to take immediate action and ensure those involved face the strictest legal consequences. Let this not be just another forgotten tragedy.
