Visit of 45th domain specific MCMC to PMRU – Detailed Briefing on PMRU Systems
On 29/01/2026, a delegation from 45th domain specific MCMC visited the Performance Management & Reforms Unit (PMRU). During the visit, the PMRU team delivered a comprehensive briefing on the organizational setup of PMRU, its mandate, and the various digital applications and online systems developed and managed by the unit to improve governance and public service delivery in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The 45th MCMC delegation appreciated PMRU’s efforts in leveraging technology for governance reforms. The visit concluded with a constructive discussion on future collaboration, system enhancement, and scaling up digital solutions to further strengthen public service delivery in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

With deep sorrow, we bid farewell to a friend, a colleague, and a valued member of our field team. Akbar Shah, Focal Person PMRU at the Office of the Deputy Commissioner Orakzai, has departed from this temporary world, leaving many hearts heavy with grief.

The entire PMRU family at the Chief Secretary’s Office honours his dedication, sincerity, and quiet strength. His contributions will always be remembered with deep respect and affection.

May Allah grant him the highest ranks in Jannah and bless his family and loved ones with patience and strength. Ameen.

A 28-member delegation of the Mid Career Management Course (MCMC) from the Pakistan Provincial Services Academy, Peshawar, visited the PMRU (Public Management and Reform Unit) at the Office of the Chief Secretary KP, Peshawar on 11th July 2024.
The participants were briefed by Director PMRU, Mr. Shauzab Abbas, and Deputy Director, Ms. Sana Hafeez, on the innovative initiatives and success stories of PMRU in transforming public service delivery and e-Governance in the province. The delegation was impressed by the PMRU's strategic approach to leveraging technology, data analytics, and process re-engineering to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of government services.
This knowledge-sharing engagement aims to equip the MCMC participants with fresh insights and ideas to drive meaningful reforms and excellence in public service, as they move forward in their careers.
