Public Hearing Successfully Conducted – District Lakki Marwat

A Public Hearing session on the Draft Land Use Plan was successfully held today at the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, bringing together key stakeholders for an inclusive and participatory discussion.

The session was graced by the presence of Honorable Member Provincial Assembly Liaqat Khan, along with the Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner, representatives of line departments, and members of civil society.

The public hearing provided a valuable platform for incorporating community feedback and ensuring transparency in the planning process. Such engagements play a vital role in shaping a sustainable and inclusive future for the district.

Progress Review meeting was held today with Shehr Saaz Consultant on Package 03.
The meeting was chaired by Honourable Deputy Executive Director UPPU.

A progress review meeting was held yesterday dated 4th March 2026 with NESPAK Consultant regarding the ongoing process of developing land use plans for District Kurram and Orakzai. The meeting was chaired by W/DED, UPPU.

A Progress Review Meeting was held today, 3rd Mard 2026 with Urban Unit Punjab regarding the preparation of District Land Use Plans (DLUPs) for Package–III districts, including Kohat, Hangu, Karak, Bannu, Lakki Marwat, Tank, and Dera Ismail Khan.
The meeting was chaired by Mr. Kamran Khan, Project Manager – Provincial Land Use Plan, Urban Policy & Planning Unit (UPPU), Planning & Development Department, Peshawar.

Public Hearing on District Land Use Plan – Bannu
Today, on October 9, 2025, the Public Hearing for the District Land Use Plan – Bannu was held at Aamir Wedding Hall, District Bannu. The event was attended by representatives from the District Administration, all line departments, and public representatives.
The District Land Use Plan Project of the Urban Policy and Planning Unit (UPPU), in collaboration with the consultant Urban Unit Punjab, presented the plan in detail. Following the presentation, a question-and-answer session was held, during which the District Administration, line departments, and public representatives actively shared their valuable feedback and assured their full cooperation in the implementation of the plan.
The Provincial Land Use Plan Project – Urban Policy and Planning Unit, Planning and Development Department (P&DD) extends its sincere gratitude to all stakeholders, particularly the District Administration Bannu, for their active participation and valuable contribution in making the public hearing a successful and productive event.

On October 8, 2025, the Public Hearing for the District Land Use Plan – Karak was held in district Karak. The event was attended by representatives from the District Administration, all line departments, and public representatives.

Following the presentation, a question-and-answer session was held, during which the District Administration, line departments, and public representatives actively shared their valuable feedback and assured their full cooperation in the implementation of the plan.
