Today, Sunday 31-10-2021, on the direction of worthy Director, Industries, Commerce, Technical Education & Consumer Rights Protection, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Assistant Director, CRP, Peshawar Mr. Farhanzeb Shinwari under the supervision of the Deputy Director, Consumer Rights Protection, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,Mr. Mujahid Khan inspected different shops & business establishments in Peshawar and checked the retail prices of Sugar, particularly, in the Ithwar Bazar, Hayatabad. Those found charging inflated prices were booked and called to the office for further legal action action and ensuring controlled prices. Consumer Rights Protection Awareness campaign was also conducted in different parts of Peshawar.

Assistant Director Consumer Rights Protection Peshawar Mr Farhanzeb Shinwari inspected different shops, stores, restaurants and mega Marts in District Peshawar. In case of non compliance to Government notified rates the violators of law were summoned to office for further necessary action. Cases will be instituted against the violators in Consumer Protection Court Peshawar. The shop owners were directed to exhibit official price lists conspicuously for consumers. Restaurants and Bakery owners were strictly directed to maintain hygienic environment.

Meeting of the Assistant Director, CPC and Industries, Peshawar Mr. Farhanzeb Shinwari & Mr. Banaras Khan IDO, Peshawar with the Hon’ble Judge Consumer Protection Court, Peshawar Mr. Muhammad Asif Khan and Worthy DG, KP Judicial Academy, Peshawar for finalisation of Public Awareness Campaign regarding consumer rights, through Radio Meezan.

Assistant Director Consumer Rights Protection Peshawar Mr Farhanzeb Shinwari inspected different commercial establishments in District Peshawar:
1. Hotels Kitchens were checked where on Unsatisfactory performance the owners were called to office for further necessary action.
2. Bakery Kitchens were checked where two Bakery Kitchens were sealed due to unhygienic conditions.
3. Kabab rates were checked where those who did not follow Government rates were called to office.
4. Mega Marts and shops were also inspected where expired items recovered and seized under Consumer law. The owners have been called to office.
5. Guage and rates of different filling stations was also checked where on low Guage two petrol pump owners were called to office.
The Assistant Director CPC Peshawar strictly directed shop owners to comply with government notified rates and exhibit the price lists in shops conspicuously.
Heavy fine will be imposed upon the violators of consumer law.
In the beginning of October, seven (7) cases to be instituted on 7-10-2021 in Consumer Protection Court Peshawar.

During inspection expired items were also seized.. Heavy fine to be imposed upon the violators of law. The shop owners were strictly directed to comply with government notified rates.

On the Directions of Worthy Director Industries and Commerce Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Peshawar, today Mr Farhanzeb Shinwari along with staff checked different markets in Gulberg and Tehkal Peshawar. Expired items were found which was seized on the spot. The shop owners were once again strictly directed to comply with Official Price List and in case of violation heavy fine will be imposed or case can also be sent to Consumer Court Peshawar in best public interest. Special focus on shop owners to make compliance with DC and Government rates.
In Gulberg peshawar utility store was visited where availability of stock was checked and found in abundance. Fruit and Vegetable shops were checked in Tehkal Peshawar on Consumer Complaint.

On the Directions Worthy Director Industries and Commerce KP Peshawar , today Mr Farhan Zeb Shinwari Assistant Director Consumer Rights Protection Peshawar along with Consumer Inspector inspected different shops, Marts, Stores, restaurants, bakery shops, juice points, and fruits/vegetable shops on Dalazak Road and Dabgari Garden Peshawar. The shop owners were strictly directed to exhibit official price lists conspicuously and follow the same. Bakery Kitchens were checked where bakery managers were directed to ensure hygienic and safe condition during baking. The violators of consumer law were called to office for further necessary action. Cases against Violators will also be sent to consumer protection court peshawar.
