Upon the special directives of Director General M&E Mr. Usman Zaman the Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) System, Planning & Development Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, conducted a field assessment of ongoing Irrigation Department interventions in Swat Irrigation Division.
The M&E HQ team comprising Mr. Waseem, Assistant Director Monitoring, Syed Abdul Wahid Shah, Assistant Monitoring Officer (NRM) HQ and Aizaz Ali Arif, Assistant Monitoring Officer (Civil) HQ inspected/Asses the ground position of Dredging/Desilting of Urban Critical Waterways in KP

The field assessment focused on physical progress, quality of ex*****on, scope compliance and utilization of public funds, with particular emphasis on the effectiveness of interventions intended to improve urban drainage and mitigate flooding risks.
The M&E team also requested the relevant procurement record, tender documents and financial documentation, while physical activities were assessed against the approved Detailed BOQs and sanctioned scope of work. Technical observations and implementation gaps were recorded for detailed analysis.
The visit was conducted in coordination with UET Consultants and senior/field representatives of the Irrigation Department, including the Executive Engineer, SDOs, Sub-Engineers and Surveyors.
A comprehensive component wise analytical report will be prepared, covering identified technical, implementation and procedural issues, along with appropriate recommendations for corrective measures and ensuring compliance with the approved project scope.

In accordance with the approved M&E Work Plan 2026–27, a field monitoring visit was conducted by Mr. Arshad Ali, Assistant Monitoring Officer (Civil), M&E System, Malakand Division, along with the concerned officials of the Irrigation Department, to the sub-scheme “Restoration/Construction of Flood Protection Works at Mastuj River in Reshun Shahdir Area (in Reaches), District Upper Chitral,” under ADP No. 250199 – “Restoration/Construction of Flood Protection Works at Mastuj, Chitral River in Reshum Shahdir, Green Lasht & Daneen Area (in Reaches), District Lower & Upper Chitral.”

The visit aimed to assess physical and financial progress, verify implementation status, and evaluate compliance with prescribed quality standards.

In accordance with the approved M&E Work Plan 2026–27, the District M&E Team, D.I. Khan, conducted a field monitoring visit to ADP No. 1865/220148 (2024-25), titled “Rehabilitation/Improvement of CRBC & Paharpur Canal System in District D.I. Khan”, including the sub-schemes “Rehabilitation of Disty No.06 & its System in reaches”, “Rehabilitation of Disty No.07, 07/A & its System i/c Escape Channel in reaches”, “Rehabilitation of Disty No.18 & its System i/c Escape Channel in reaches” and “Rehabilitation / Improvement of Canal Section & Lining of Disty No.18/A in reaches”. The visit was carried out in coordination with the concerned officials of the CRBC Irrigation Division, D.I. Khan.
The visit aimed to assess the physical and financial progress of the scheme, evaluate the pace of ex*****on, verify compliance with the approved PC-I provisions and prescribed quality standards, and review the overall implementation status of the ongoing works at site.

As per the approved M&E Work Plan 2026–27, a field monitoring visit was conducted to the District Specific ADP Scheme #220406: "Road from Shaheeda Sar to Etay Khwar, District Buner", by the District M&E Team Buner, led by Engr. Mian Jan-e-Alam Khan, the Assistant Director Monitoring Officer, M&E System, along with the concerned staff of the Pakhtunkhwa Highways Authority, District Buner.
