E-KHULI KACHEHRI

A meeting of the UPU Technical Committee was convened on October 31, 2025, under the chairmanship of the Deputy Executive Director, UPU, to review and approve the second deliverable — the “Vision Formulation and Community Consultation Report” for the Tourist Destination Master Plan of the Kaghan Development Authority region. The meeting was also attended by the Assistant Director of the Kaghan Development Authority and sector experts from the consultant team.

Batgram October 29, 2025.
A Vision Formulation and Community Consultation Workshop of the Batgram city master plan was held on under the Chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Batgram. The workshop was attended by Deputy Executive Director UPU, Project Director Master Plan, Chairman Tehsil Concil, Batgram representatives from hotel and transport associations, members of civil society, district line departments, and experts of the consultant. The DC Batgram apprised participants for attending the workshop and ensured support of the district administration for successful completion of the proposed master plan. The Deputy Executive Director UPU commended the participants for their active engagement, acknowledging their valuable commitments and suggestions towards shaping the vision of the Batgram city.

Vision Formulation and Community Consultation Workshop for the Kaghan, Naran, and Batakundi tourist destinations under the jurisdiction of the Kaghan Development Authority was held on October 2, 2025. The workshop was attended by the Executive Director UPU, Director General KDA, representatives from hotel and transport associations, members of civil society, district line departments, and the consultants’ team of experts. The Executive Director UPU commended the participants for their active engagement, acknowledging their valuable commitments and suggestions towards shaping the vision of the KDA region.

Stakeholders consultative meeting held under the Chairmanship of DC Swat for the preparation of tourism master plan for Mahodhan, Kalam, Bahrain, Madayan, and Maankial areas of Upper Swat (USDA).

A consultative kick-off meeting, chaired by the Deputy Commissioner Mansehra, was held regarding the master plan for the Kaghan Development Authority region. The meeting was attended by the Deputy Executive Director UPU, Project Director Master Plan, experts from the consultant team, and representatives of district line departments. The Deputy Commissioner assured timely provision of secondary data and full logistical support.
