mhGAP Training
The Mental Health Gap Action Programme (mhGAP) training is scheduled from September 8 to 12, targeting primary care physicians in Baluchistan. This hands-on training aims to enhance their skills in providing mental health services.

" *BIPBS Launches 9th Batch Clinical Psychology Internship Program!*
BIPBS is pleased to announce the commencement of its 9th Batch Clinical Psychology Internship Program for 6 months, starting July 2025. A total of 25 psychologists have been inducted into the program.
Program Director, Mr. *Aminullah Senior Psychologist* delivered an insightful orientation session. *Executive Director, BIPBS* warmly welcomed all participants and emphasized the importance of utilizing this internship duration professionally and effectively.

*BIPBS---Dextromethorphan * (45mg) and bupropion *(105mg),*
An academic session was conducted at Balochistan Institute of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences - BIPBS, Quetta, on June 21, 2025. The session focused on a newer antidepressant medication, specifically a combination of dextromethorphan (45mg) and bupropion (105mg).
The session, led by *Dr.* *Kamal Mandokhail* , *Consultant Psychiatrist* , highlighted the significance of this medication in:
1. Cognitive improvement
2. Weight maintenance
3. Sexual function enhancement
The session was attended by faculty members, consultants, trainees, and psychologists from BIPBS.
