*Digitalize Military planning*

At first, the GTO explained whole task using the LED within a minute or two. There was a video played with subtitles in English and the same was repeated n explained by the GTO but very quickly actually!
So the task was to plan and make the school students visit few places and complete a school trip within prescribed time i remember it was from 7am morning to 5pm evening(the visiting time). Students were 50 with 6 teachers, 56 in total. The distance was mentioned from one place to another in km/h, also the time duration to visit respective place was also mentioned. There were 2 buses in which 60 people 30 in each could get accomodation. 4 water boats were available each could carry 6 persons at a time... Time to reach through buses and boats were different. There were some islands, 1-2 restaurants as i remember and a boating n fishing place to visit. This was the whole scenario.
The task was to make the students accommodate first then keeping in mind the distance and duration to reach and visit certain place, we need to plan the tour by visiting most of the places within assigned time. I also remember there was a mandatory place to visit and have lunch with the principal at 1.30pm i think and a place which the students may skip.
We were given 10min for individual planning and we were also given a pen and apad to write the plan and there was a printed paper too in which all the details were written about the video they showed.
After that we were given 10more minutes to discuss the plan and share our ideas with the group (group discussion in english) and reach upon a conclusion and at last after the whole 20min planning we have to decide and make one of our members go and explain the whole plan to the GTO properly. Here only 2 mistakes i remember were allowed to make in the planning by the person who was decided to explain the task.
💫Mathematical calculations and physics basic distance and speed formulas were the keys to practice as a must for this task! Cause the GTO may ask and you need to stay prepared here for simultaneous answering with the plan and calculations accordingly.

🔴Ans=You can consult a good orthopedic surgeon for corrective surgery or have to do exercises at least a year or more before you apply.

🚩Q.Piles person eligible?

🔴Ans=You cant pass the medical exam with piles, however if you get rid of them, you'll get through.
Stage 1,2 is curable.

🚩Q.Eyesight relaxation?

🔴Ans=Well, -3.5 is on last verge criteria dear. Medically and in Army/PAF/Navy term, its called VS 3. but more than this is not acceptable in any course.(not for GDP)

🚩Q.What they check in dental exam??

🔴Ans=Dental or more correctly oral exam will tell any local infection, any Gutka/ Supari/Pan/cigarette effects, any erosion or history of even cancer.

🚩Q.How they check knock knee??

🔴Ans=It's other way round. A simple way to check for knee-knocking is to stand straight, join your heals with your feet making a 'V' i.e. your toes are pointing outwards - dont open them too much, just as you would stand normally, now if the inner side of your knees touch each other, you have a problem. But nothing to worry about, even a very little gap between the (inner) knees would do.

🔴Ans=DNS operation will have no effect on your selection. They even tell you to have DNS operation if it is observed during the medical and then you can re-appear for the tests.

🚩Q.Eyesight standard in Army?

🔴Ans=Here is the standard requirement for Pakistan Army.
⭕(1) Distant Vision With glasses 6/9, 6/12
⭕(2) Near Vision J2, J7 or N8, N12 with or without glasses

🔴ans=5-18 degree is normal limit, 1 degree relaxation maybe given, depends on the doctor, but its rare.

📍Note1=CP-1 is the normal level for the color blindness test. However, i have seen a candidate with CP-2 declared fit... If the RMO/DMO at the selection raises a doubt over your eyes issues, he'll refer you to eye specialicist.
📍Note2=PAF will give relaxation up-to 5 kg's overweight in medicals

🔴Weight lose karne ke liye Mukhtalif exercise karein take passena zada aye.Upper pehan kar running karein jitna zada sweat produce hoga utna zada fats burn honge.So chin ups,pull ups,rope jumping waghera karein.
Diet imp. hai agar 7 din mila hain to rotti chor dein brown bread use karein..
Oil ka use bhi chor dein..Meat,fish,milk shake, fish,Fast food or cheeni sirf 7 din mat use karein,cold drinks bhi use karne ke zarorat nahi..
Diet mein..
cucumber zada khaein,Green vegetables use karein..
Lemmonade juice(Shikanjabeen) use karein zada se zada..

🚩Medical Tests you can perform at Home to ensure that you are Medically Fit for the Forces:

🔴1. Sweaty Palms or Hyperhidrosis

💢Having Sweaty palms will get you rejected by Medical Board as you won’t be able to hold your weapon properly in battle.
To Check whether you have Sweaty Palms, Close your fist for some time (30 sec to one minute) and later grab someone’s finger( or your own finger from another hand) tightly in your fist. Try to Free your Finger/Ask your friend to free his finger from your grip and if it happens easily, it’s because your palms are sweaty and guess what, you may have sweaty palms.
If you have Sweaty palms, Do not panic. Consult a Doctor

🔴2. Cubitus Varus or Cubitus Valgus

💢Cubitus varus is a common deformity in which the extended forearm deviates towards the midline of the body.
Cubitus valgus is a medical deformity in which the forearm is angled away from the body to a greater degree than normal when fully extended.
In Both the Cases, You will be declared Unfit by the Medical Board.
To Check whether you have either of the two conditions, Stretch your Arm. If your forearm ( the part below the elbow) is not straight or aligns itself with the entire arm, You have Cubitus Varus or Cubitus Valgus. Lots of Aspirants don’t know about this Rejection and a large population suffer from this deformity. Make sure that you don’t have this. If you do, Consult a Doctor ASAP.

🔴3. Color Blindness Test

💢Color Blindness is something lot of People take for granted. You see colours every day and assume that you are not Color Blind. That is not the case my friend. Color Blindness means that one can see all the colours like the others but is unable to distinguish the differences between certain colours. This condition results from an absence of colour-sensitive pigment in the cone cells of the retina, the nerve layer at the back of the eye.
Unfortunately, We cannot run Color Blindness Test Here. We, however, have found a Website that does.

🔴4. Hearing Test

💢Ability to hear clearly is very important in the military. During a gun battle, you will have to hear what your fellow soldiers are saying to you while guns are blazing above your head.You should be able to hear Clearly
An improper hearing will also get you Rejected.
Unfortunately, we cannot run Hearing Test Here. We, however, have found a Website that has Hearing Test similar to that of SSB Medicals.

🔴5. Eye Test

💢Whether you wear Glasses or Not, Your Eye Sight should be well within the prescribed limit.
If your eyesight is below Average, You usually don’t get rejected. They examine whether your eyesight can be corrected using glasses or not. If not, you will be rejected.
This test is very important especially for those who don’t wear glasses as they are not aware of the condition of their eyesight.
We have two ways through which you can take this test.
You can either go to the below website and complete the test or you can check your Eyesight from the below chart

You have to view this chart from distance of 4 meters with each eye. You can estimate your eyesight based on the smallest line you can read.

📍Note: The Vision Score you get like 6/9 means that what you can read at 6 meters can be read by a person with perfect vision at 9 meters. (6/9 is a good score though)

🔴6.Knock Knees

💢This is amongst the most talked about Medical Test when it Comes to Defence. Knock knees is a condition in which the knees angle in and touch each other when the legs are straightened.
A candidate with knock knees is declared medically unfit as he/she may not be able to perform physically during training and on battlefield. Their knees are also prone to severe injuries as well. Candidates are Given Temporary Rejection if they have Knock knees.
To test whether you have knock knee or not, you have to just stand on floor forming a “V” shape with feet and if there is Small Gap between your knees then it’s fine but if the gap is too much or your knees are touching each other, you have knock knees then.
Make sure you do this test while forming a “V” with both feet like shown in above picture. Sometimes, muscles in knees are big and brush against each other. That does not mean that you have Knock Knee. Use a Scale/Ruler to ascertain whether you have knock knees.

🔴7. Flat Foot

💢Flat Foot is a Deformity is a postural deformity in which the arches of the foot collapse, with the entire sole of the foot coming into complete or near-complete contact with the ground. Some individuals (an estimated 20–30% of the general population) have an arch that simply never develops in one foot (unilaterally) or both feet (bilaterally).
Candidates with Flat Foot are Give Temporary Rejection by Medical Board.
To Check whether you have Flat Foot, follow the below Steps:

♦1.Pour a thin layer of water into a shallow ♦pan
♦2.Wet the sole of your foot.
♦3.Step onto a shopping bag or a blank piece of heavy paper/Brown paper
♦4.Step off and look down

♦5.There can be three different results:
📌a.Normal Arch: Your feet are normal so relax.
📌b.Low Arch: Can create some problem during medicals.
📌c.High Arch: Can be considered as a normal for medical point of view۔

✅Medical Points✅

🔴1.Your chest should be well developed. The minimum range of expansion after full inspiration should be 5 cm.

🔴2.There should be no disease of bones and joints of the body.

🔴3.You should be free of any past history of mental breakdown or fits.

🔴4.Your hearing should be normal without any evidence of present or past disease of the ear, nose and throat.

🔴5.There should be no sign of functional or organic disease of the heart and blood vessels. Your blood pressure should also be normal.

🔴6.The muscles of the abdomen should be well developed without any enlargement of the liver or spleen. Any evidence of disease of internal organs of the abdomen can be a cause for rejection.

🔴7.An un-operated hernia can make you unfit for selection. If operated, this should have been done at least six months prior to the present examination and healing should be complete without any potential for recurrence.

🔴8.There should be no hydrocele, varicocele or piles. If operated for hydrocele and/or varicocele, this should have been done at least six months prior to the present examination and healing should be complete without any recurrence.

🔴9.Urine examination will be done and any abnormality, if detected, can be a cause for rejection.

🔴10.Any disease of the skin, which is likely to cause disability or disfigurement, will also be a cause for rejection.

🔴11.Vision will be tested. You must have good binocular vision. In case you have undergone or are detected to have undergone Radial Keratotomy, or any other procedure to improve the visual acuity, you will be permanently rejected.

🔴12.You should have sufficient number of natural and sound teeth. You should not be suffering from severe pyorrhoea.

🔴13.The following are conditions pertaining to women that will entail rejection:

♦a.Acute or chronic pelvic infection
♦b.Severe menorrhagia
♦c.Severe dysmenorrhea
♦d.Complete prolapse of uterus
♦e.Pregnancy/ Amenorrhea

✨ISSB routine
Remember routine may vary from center to center but I will tell you about recent routine of
✨ISSB Kohat
Reporting Day
You will be allotted your rooms and will be briefed accordingly. Then your documents will be verified, chest numbers will be given, BMI will be calculated( you must write your BMI along with weight and height on a paper so that you may remember it when you have to write this during form filling or deputy/gto may ask you about your BMI, weight and height), photo and submission of call letter will be carried out. After lunch, all of you will be called to Johar Hall where you will be briefed from A to Z and then you have to fill your forms. After that, next day will be psychologist day and you have to undergo psychologist test and that,s all. 3rd day will be GTO day, first of all gto will call you group vise when you will be sitting in Johar hall and GTO chest numbers will be given. Then the whole badge will be divided into two groups. Group A and Group B
Group A and B , both will have lecturate, military planning and progressive group task and sub group race with gto on 3rd day. But after that, group A will have to go for deputy interview and discussion with him and group B will undergo individual obstacles. On 4th day, Group A will have to undergo individual obstacles and command task with GTO.After that they have to report at Johar hall for psychologist interview that will be of the selected candidates. Group B will also report to Johar hall for deputy discussion, interview and psychologist interview. After that, you will be allowed to go to your rooms and on 5th day you all have to report Johar hall from where all the groups will be sent to their homes one by and one. If there will be any need of re interview of anyone then he will be asked to stay there until his interview or re task, obstacles, whatever needed, is done.

💫Form Filling
On your first day, all the candidates will have to fill few forms. 4 copies of personal questionaries form will be filled by all the candidates. All the copies will be same.
2ndly you have to fill another personal form.
Main aspects of these forms are
Your personal info, father info, mother info, monthly income, sources of income, property details, siblings details, your own education details, your social status( means if you are a part of any ngo, Tableeghi Jammat or any political party) , previous course records (only for repeaters), service details ( only for service men), guardian info (if any), your travelling history (if you have travelled abroad), passport info, sports details along with your achievements.
*Important*
There is a new addition in particular form that is the info regarding any coaching academy under which you have gone through. The info includes academy name, location, fee package and time duration.
Remaining form also include your sports proficiency level, swimmer proficiency level, smoker or non smoker etc.
There will be a TA form that you have to fill on the very first day by which you will get your TA one day before your departure.

✨OPI
It's a self analysis test, in which psychologist want to test how best you can analyze your personality aspects. Follow your personality, whatever the question is asked, considered the question's statement as you are standing in that situation then think what will be your response ?
Many of the questions are repeated, so keep in mind that your answers don't miss match your previous answer. Try to do it in a continuous way because there will be 143 question along with 7 situations so keep the time limit in mind.

✨Situation Reaction Test(SRT)
It is a test for testing your quick response to certain situations while keeping a balance between neend of the hour and your emotions. Just put yourself into the given situation and write whatever you will do if you are in that situation according to your own personality because if you write the things or reactions that are apparently good to see or listen but are not according to your personality then they will not help you in any case. Do pr write according to your mind because psychologist will catch you from your acts during 4 or 5 days stay and from your writings as it is their job and they are well organized and trained in it . So, keep the things normal, don't be an angel and don't be a devil. Follow the rule of keeping a balance between good and bad.

💫GTO Tasks:

💫Group Discussion
During present days of ISSB, Group discussion is being held by Deputy President and it's an indoor task.
You will be taken into a room and deputy president will give you 2 topics, one will be in English and other will be in Urdu. Deputy will ask everyone to speak at least one minute so that he might listen everyone's point of view. First of all you will have to speak in Urdu.
Important tips
Make sure that you have nothing to do with deputy president and you are communicating with your group so you must not look at deputy president as it will have a negative impact on your performance. If deputy president ask you a question then shift your attention towards him. Don't try to impose your analysis or view point on others just try to explain the things according to your own way. Remember your way of deliverance matters much more than your knowledge about the topic. I have noticed and experienced a very big mistake that mostly candidates do and that is while delivering their view point, the ignore their group mate sitting on one side and focuses more on the other side. move your face, eyes to every one sitting in your group and don't focuses on a single person.
2nd topic will be in English and similar tips are applicable as mentioned above.
Some times deputy president will ask who will conclude the discussion, so make sure that you are confident enough to conclude it.
Don't be so casual while sitting in the discussion room as cameras are there.

✨Lecturate
This is a part of GTO Task in which you will be sent away from the group for 1 minute to think on your given topic. Now a days, GTO will give you 2 topics, among them you have to choose one and deliver. Make sure that you have choosen a topic on which you think that you can remind your knowledge. GTO will ask you to repeat the topic on which you are going to deleiver a speech or lecture. I have seen that boys don't repeat and GTO has to condemn their this act. Make sure you are a good listener and good follower of GTO'S instructions. He will ask anyone of the group to ask questions from the one giving speech or lecture. Your eye contact should be with everyone among the group except the GTO because he is not your group member. Remember when GTO asks you a question, you must shift your attention towards him. Remember lecture will be in English so, English being an official language of Pakistan has become much more important. Fluency in English is not required but atleast a handsome effort is required. Confidently deleiver your thoughts. When other members of the groups are delivering their speech or lecture, kindly listen attentively because GTO notices your focus and will ask you if you have any question.

💫Military Planning
As we know, with the passage of time ISSB is having a few changes and military planning is changed a bit. Military planning will be held out door, in which GTO will brief you. All you have to do is just to listen his briefing carefully and don,t ask any question when he says no more questions. Prefer to ask from your group mates. Everybody will make plan according to their own understanding. GTO will ask every individual to raise hand who has a plan. If somebody, does not raise hand GTO will ask the reason why he had not made a plan?
From the raised hand, GTO will call any individual to present his plan. Simultaneously, GTO will ask questions regarding the briefing, speed, time, available sources from anyone from the group and also from the individual who is giving plan. Accomplishment of plan is not quite possible but the answers regarding briefing matters a lot so you all are advised to keep each and every point of his briefing in mind. It will not wrong if, I say that GTO focuses more on your attention during briefing rather than being focused on your plan.

✨Progressive Group Task
Remember in this task you have to work collectively with mutual planning, assistance and cooperation. During this task, you will be given some luggage that you have to take along with you while crossing the finish line. Remember! the biggest mistake candidates do during this task is this that they don't listen anyone, don't cooperate, create a greate hustle and bustle, as a result nobody knows what to do and how to do and group fails. According to my point of view it's better to be silent rather than creating a very disturb situation, imposing your decision on others without having their view point. GTO notices your behavior not your act. I have seen many guys they just say no no to every suggestion during pgt and continue to work according to their own mind , that's simply not true. It means that during a war, when all the team decide to attack from south and one of them go and attack from west and what will be the result?
Failure of Plan and team will collapse. So remember during war zone, every person, every single individual has to follow the plan and imposing your plan over the majority plan is the foolish mistake we do.

💫Command Task
As name depicts, command task tests commanding and leadership qualities from a candidate. Remember, in this task the commander is responsible for each and everything. All your under command boys are obliged to follow your command. GTO will call up your chest number and other group will run towards a distant place. GTO can ask you anything but most questions are related to group performance, your hobbies, family and interests. He can ask any current minister name, mathematical statement from you. All you have to do is to answer according to your form. Remember one thing, GTO can ask same question from every member of the group. For example:
From one group gto asked a question that what's the name of DG FIA?
All the group gave same answer and answer was wrong, so that reflects cheating because that's not a co incidence that all the group mates have the same answer. So it is better to say sorry rather than following answers of other group mates.
After GTO's breifing you have to call your group and choose your under command boys in following order. 5 chest numbers before your own chest number.
You will brief your plan to your under command candidates. Atlast, you should ask them if they have any doubt or questions and you should also allow them to give suggestions if they have any, at any moment during task. Don't take suggestions if your plan is working and if your own plan is not working then you should admire suggestions. Remember, being a commander don't be so rude or hyper. Stay in a normal tone and show cooperation. Motivate your guys, keep their morale high. If they do any foul don't become harsh with them. Tap them and help them in correcting their mistake. GTO mostly says during briefing that Jumping and throwing is not allowed so don't forget to tell your group about this during briefing. GTO also says that you have to put the luggage at starting line after task. So being a commander it's your duty to ask your boys to do so.

💫Individual Obstacles
You will be briefed regarding everything before obstacles. You will be briefed regarding things that you are allowed to do and not to do simultaneously. Obstacles are 9 and each obstacles carry specific marks.
On your specific day when you will have to go for IO( Individual Obstacles), take light breakfast and if possible avoid breakfast. Because if your stomach is bulky then it will cause problem while clearing obstacles. Start from where you think it's easy but remember don't start with a rope because it will take a lot of energy from you and your stamina will fall to do the remaining obstacles in time. So, kindly it's a brotherly advice that go for rope at the end if possible otherwise 6-7 obstacles are quite enough for your recommendation. One thing more, try to do zig zag without any hesitation because if you hesitate then it will reflect a phobia named height phobia. Regular running, chin ups and push ups are quite enough for maintainance of your fitness, no need to go for any coaching academy just for the sake of obstacles. Think you can practice many of the obstacles at home.
Tarzan swing, monkey bridge and hanging bridge are not possible at home but they are quite easy to do even if you never did these before. Rest is luck.

💫Group Obstacle Race:
ISSB has a few changes recently, one of them is Sub Group Race, as the name shows your group will be divided into 2 sub groups. For example: if your group consist of 12 members, then it will be divided into 2 parts and each part will be of 6 members.
The introduction of Sub Group race in ISSB replaced Half Group Task. So, Half group task is no more in ISSB.
Sub Group Race
It consist of 4 obstacles or hurdles and 5th one is a type of group task in which you have to cross it along with your luggage with the limitations of bound and out of bound places.
Hurdles/ Obstacles
1. Zig Zag
2. Figure of 8
3. Spider
4. Wall
5. Group Task
First of all, ISSB staff will give you a demo by crossing all these hurdles. Then, your sub group will be given helmets and luggage. Luggage will consist of a Dummy and Tyre. Tyre will have a rope inside.
Must To Follow :
2 members from your group must hold dummy and 2 others should hold the Tyre. Remember no, single individual can hold the dummy or Tyre, it means that it is necessary that dummy and tyre should be held by 2 individuals at the same time. If not, then it will be considered as a foul. The remaining 2 members that don,t have any luggage in their hands will assist other 4 in crossing the hurdles.
There will be six zig zag bars and it will be the first obstacle to cross and it will be easy to do so IN SH ALLAH.
Then, the second hurdle will be the figure of 8. In this, you have to cross 3 blocks step by step in a way that it should make a figure of 8. I will not explain this, because it will result into a mess that can,t be understand until, you are given a demo. So, lets come to the third one.Spider, you have to move up from one side using one hand on a rope, make sure you and your luggage are away from red ones, that are considered as out of bound for you and your luggage. 3rd one is a wall of round about 9 feet. 2 free members from your group will have to run and climb it and they will sit on the wall. Remaining boys will jump and climb in the similar way along with the luggage. However, you are allowed to pass your luggage to any other member at any time but it must follow the condition that luggage will be held by 2 person at the same time. After jumping from the wall, you will move towards your final obstacle that is a type of a half group task, that will have similar restrictions like bound and out of bound. But most of the time, your group testing officer (GTO) will ask you to stop on crossing the wall. You will be having a time limit of 8 minits for this.

💫How to deal with Deputy President?
Ans: After few changes in ISSB, deputy president also has wide effect on your selection.
Deputy covers Group discussion and an interview.
As we have mentioned all the rules of group discussion before, so we will try to cover interview portion as much as possible. During interview deputy just want to physically see the personality of a candidate whose image he has made in his mind by your forms info. Things to do for interview are same quick maths, Gk and few questions that are most probably asked by deputy.

which number is greater and which one is smaller?
your personal info, introduction, hobbies, sports, merits, demerits, father, mother info, siblings info. He can ask anything in any way that you have written in your bio data form.
your mother and father's strength and weakness (Merits, demerits of your parents)
He can ask anything from your hobbies. According to my knowledge, now a days during issb hobbies are given much more importance than the games you play. So, must write those hobbies which are yours in actual. For example: if you have written in your hobbies that you are fond of writing, then deputy will definitely ask you to explain writing. So boys, conclusion is that you must write about your personality true facts and these will be very easy to cover IN SH ALLAH.
There is another problem that candidates face during issb is that many of us have a view that only those are recommended who have a long interview with deputy and only those are recommended from whom deputy asks situational questions. That's totally wrong, you are judged until they can,t find their desired qualities and there is no time span for that.

💫Suggestions For Issb
Have strong faith in ALLAH ALMIGHTY and your abilities.If ALLAH ALMIGHTY has to take work of defense from you then, HE will definitely do, otherwise some other fields are waiting for you with flowers on, where ALLAH ALMIGHTY will appoint you as HIS worker. So, think which one is better where you want to be appointed or WHERE ALLAH ALMIGHTY wants to appoint you.
Yar let the things come and don't hide yourself under ridiculous things like false info, lie, cover, copy, paste etc.
For dressing simply dress yourself up according to the weather. Don't do this that outside weather is 39°C, body is sweating and you are wearing a 3 piece suit. Because wearing a suit is not necessary in ISSB, simply go with a dress shirt and pant with a handsome tie and belt on. If weathers allow you to wear a suit then go for it but don't wear a waistcoat under the coat because you are not on a party or something like that.
Don't mess yourself into things like
yar mera psychologist ka interview ni hoa to mn not recommend...
Don't do this, that's not the criteria for your selection just perform good in all the test that are taken from you. You will see people talking like yar deputy ny situation ni pochi mn tu ur gaya, yar psych interview ni hoa mn to gaya yar recommand ni hoa mn ur gaya... that's ridiculous
