PATHWEL–Riphah International University Joint Initiative
Maj Gen (R) Prof. Dr. Parvez Ahmed, Medical Director, Pakistan Thalassemia Welfare Society (PATHWEL), and Maj Gen (R) Prof. Dr. Najm us Saqib Khan, Principal, Islamic International Medical College (Riphah International University), held a productive meeting on April 2, 2026, at Riphah University, Rawalpindi, to discuss the continuation and expansion of areas of mutual interest and collaboration.

The meeting was also attended by Brig (R) Dr. Syed Kamran Mahmood, BMT Physician, PATHWEL, and Brig (R) Dr. Maqsood-ul-Hassan, Vice Principal, Riphah-IIMC, who contributed valuable insights toward strengthening future cooperation between the two institutions.

Special Eid Distribution for children suffering from Thalassemia disease by Al-Khidmat Foundaion Punjab North Punjab. This event was held at PATHWEL where Eid was distributed among under treatment children.

General Secretary Mr. Amjad Hussain Shah and Regional Manager Hamad Malik attended the occasion on behalf of AKF-Punjab North. While representing Medical Director PATHWEL Maj Gen (R) Prof Dr Parvez Ahmed, Dr Zohra Wazir (Chief Medical Officer) and Nigar Shah (Public Relations Officer) were present.

This initiative reflects that we are all working together to serve humanity and increase the happiness of deserving children. May Allah Almighty grant us all the ability to serve further..Aameen
