Ambassador Gulia was honoured to deliver a keynote speech at a business gathering organised by Warsaw based SUBTENO Group with representation office in Malta.

SUBTENO are a team of lawyers, legal and tax advisors, accountants and economists experienced in comprehensive services provided to Polish and foreign companies through their offices in Warsaw and in Europe, as well as support the investment of businesses in cooperation with law and tax firms in several jurisdictions worldwide.

In his speech, Ambassador Gulia stressed that whilst commercial ties between Malta and Poland are already well established and significant, the moment is right to give that relationship even greater momentum.

"Malta approaches this with confidence. We are a small country, but an outward-looking one: agile, internationally connected, strategically located in the Mediterranean and firmly anchored within the European framework. That combination allows Malta to offer not only partnership, but also a practical platform for business, investment, and services." 🇲🇹 🇵🇱

Ambassador Gulia was honoured to attend the 38th General Assembly of Members of the Polish Chamber of Tourism at the invitation of the Polish Chamber of Commerce.

It was an honour to be also welcomed at the event in his former capacity as Chairman of the Malta Tourism Authority. Polish tourism to Malta has increased tenfold since 2013.

The meeting, which brought together a strong representation of Polish tourism operators, was addressed by Deputy Ministers of Sport and Tourism, Ireneusz Raś and Piotr Borys.

This year’s assembly provided an important platform for an in-depth exchange on the key challenges and developments currently shaping the tourism sector 🇲🇹🇵🇱

It was such a pleasure for Ambassador Gulia to host and deliver a lecture on diplomacy and international relations to a distinguished group of undergraduates from the Foreign Affairs Society at the Warsaw School of Economics, as part of the 15th edition of Action Diplomacy.

The discussion highlighted the indispensable role of education in shaping future diplomats and international leaders, fostering critical thinking and a commitment to dialogue in an increasingly complex global landscape.

Engaging with such bright and motivated students was a reminder that diplomacy begins not only in chancelleries but also in classrooms where knowledge, curiosity, and mutual respect are cultivated.

As the renowned Polish educator Janusz Korczak wisely observed, “Children are not the people of tomorrow, but people today." 🇲🇹 🇵🇱

Ambassador Gulia had the pleasure to inaugurate an exhibition in Kalwaria Zebrzydowska featuring the works of the talented Maltese artist Gordon Borg.

Gordon Borg follows the path of innovation, individuality and impressionism drawing inspiration from Cubism and post-impressionism.

The exhibition is not only a celebration of artistic creativity but also a celebration of the enduring friendship and growing cultural collaboration between Malta and Poland.

Art has always served as a bridge between nations, connecting people beyond language and geography. Throughout history, both our countries have valued culture, heritage, craftsmanship and artistic expression as essential elements of national identity 🇲🇹🇵🇱
