Happy Birthday Shipmates! ⚓️
🌟 **Remembering September 11, 2001** 🌟
Today, we pause to reflect on the tragic events that unfolded on September 11, 2001. A day that forever altered the course of history and touched the lives of millions. As we look back, our hearts are heavy with the weight of loss, yet they swell with pride for the bravery and resilience that emerged in the wake of such darkness.
On that fateful morning, the world watched in horror as lives were shattered and the skyline of New York City was forever changed. The sound of sirens became a haunting reminder of the fear and uncertainty that gripped our nation. But amidst the chaos, we also witnessed incredible acts of heroism. First responders, firefighters, police officers, and everyday citizens rose to the occasion, selflessly risking their lives to help others. Their courage is a legacy we honor today.
Let us also remember the 2,977 souls who were lost in the attacks, their absence is felt deeply in the hearts of their families and friends. Each name represents a story, dreams unfulfilled, and futures stolen too soon. We stand with their loved ones, holding them in our thoughts and prayers, knowing that the pain of this day will never fully fade but will always be a reminder of the fragility of life.
As we reflect on 9/11, let it serve as a call to love more fiercely, to embrace compassion, and to foster unity in our communities. Together, we have the power to build a future where love triumphs over hate, where understanding prevails over division, and where together we stand as one nation, indivisible.
Today, let us share our memories, honor the sacrifices made, and recommit to creating a world filled with kindness, empathy, and hope. 💙🇺🇸

Sailors from NRC Puerto Rico participated in a joint event hosted by Sector San Juan USCG. In conjunction they made a short patrol of the waters in Old San Juan re-enforcing relations between branches!
