🏈On the morning of the Bad Bunny's Superbowl, the Puerto Rican Independence Party in the Diaspora (DPIP) will host its own Pre-Game show.

🇵🇷 The popularity of Bad Bunny is a perfect opportunity to explain Puerto Rico's colonial situation and to show the world how in Puerto Rico, music and art have been deeply conecteded.

☑️For example, many of you might not know that, on this past election, Bad Bunny endorsed Juan Dalmau, the Puerto Rican Independence Party's candidate for governor.

🎬 As a special guest to our Pre-Game show, we will have Tito Roman Rivera, a Puerto Rican filmaker, musician, DJ and pro-independence activist. Tito's latest documentary, called Psiquis, discusses the psychological effects of colonialism on the Puerto Rican people. In the documentary, Tito opens a conversation about the traumas generated by the colonial experience, raises questions to understand how colonized people think and identifies healing tools to provoke a collective transformation.

🗣 As Tito will explain, to reach their full potential, the Puerto Rican people must reprogram their minds and start thinking about the wide range of oportunities that a free and independent Puerto Rico will bring them.

✊️ We invite everyone to think about the fact that independence is the normal path that all all nations must follow to reach their full potential. Colonialism, on the other hand, is an aberration that has destroyed the minds and spirits of the Puerto Rican people.
