This past weekend, the MS3s were put to the test—completing Call for Fire evaluations, a land navigation written exam, practical land navigation, and a 12-mile ruck. Each challenge was designed to sharpen their skills, build endurance, and strengthen their knowledge as they prepare for the upcoming FTX at Camp Blanding. Stepping up, pushing limits, and developing as future leaders.

Last week, Bulldog BN wrapped up its FTX, and it felt like stepping into a full-scale proving ground. Cadets were pushed hard, not just to test what they learned in class, but to see who could stay sharp when things got tough🦾. The event kicked off with a land-navigation test that forced everyone to think fast and trust their skills. From there, they moved straight into day and night practical exercises that turned the terrain into a maze of pressure and problem-solving🗺️. Everything built up to the STX lanes, where squads had to pull together, stay calm under stress, and fight through every scenario🤝🏼. It was the kind of event that hit you with nerves, adrenaline, and a real sense of why the training matters🔥.

During October, Bulldog BN held the BN Lab, giving cadets their first real taste of a battalion-level event🔥. They rotated through different instructors and stations, tackling topics like land navigation, where they completed both a written exam and a practical test🗺️. They sharpened their PMI skills in the EST and took on the rappel tower, pushing past fears or enjoying the thrill of the drop💪🏼. They also moved through several walkthrough classes on key tactical tasks. Events like this do more than build skills😎. They help cadets experience new approaches to essential topics while forming stronger bonds with the teammates they’ll train alongside all year. 🤝🏼🐶
