I wanted to work remotely, even before COVID. Working remotely it’s not just about having the career opportunity, it requires a certain mindset, it comes with challenges different from a conventional job, so I wanted to try a full remote environment and ecosystem close enough to home but far enough to consider it a new place

For someone coming in, come, with an open mind, search for the community, especially people that have been around the longest or the bitter number of times. Those will share the best secrets about life quality here. Be friendly, what goes around comes around, in this is super true in this island and community

Ponta do sol is my gem for both work and relax. I like in Funchal and I really like it, but I weekly do one or 2 escapades to ponta. Helps me relax and connect with nature, and relativize my daily challenges.
It’s my gem, but it’s a shared one with all those who share the same mindset
