Statement - Commencement of the Dissolution Process of the National Civil Intervention Corps

Following the previous statement, we inform you that the dissolution process of the National Civil Intervention Corps has begun today.

This process began with the submission of a request for a declaration of dissolution to the territorially competent court for this matter.

Attached to the aforementioned request are all the elements considered necessary for a sound decision.

I would like to once again, on my own behalf, thank all those who, during the almost 18 years of existence of this organization, contributed in some way to all the achievements obtained, which only hidden interests prevented from being further developed.

Official Statement – ​​Dissolution of the National Civil Intervention Body

Lisbon, January 3, 2026

Considering that:

• After almost 18 years of existence of the National Civil Intervention Body, it was not possible to establish a solid unity among the members;

• Changes in responsibilities and personal, professional, and academic commitments do not allow me to dedicate the time required for the management and administration of the National Civil Intervention Body;

• The unilateral departure and/or resignation of members makes it impossible to manage an institution such as the National Civil Intervention Body;

• The hidden interests of some individuals, previously linked to this organization, promoted destabilization;

• It reached a point where the President of the Board was removed from the institutional decision-making process, which was then taken over by other units;

• This removal from the decision-making process led to the submission of my resignation from the position of President of the Board of Directors;

• The mass resignation of leaders and associates leads to the impossibility of continuing the association.

All associates and supporters of the National Civil Intervention Body are hereby informed that, at the appropriate time, a request will be made in Civil Court for the dissolution of the National Civil Intervention Corps.

This is certainly a decision I would not like to make. However, just as on April 30, 2008, I assumed the responsibility of establishing the National Civil Intervention Body, I cannot, conversely, fail to assume responsibility for requesting its dissolution.

Regardless of how this process unfolds, it is important to emphasize that neither the National Civil Intervention Body nor its leaders have any debts. Furthermore, it should be clarified that, from a financial point of view, the institution is sound.

However, the behind-the-scenes games are tiring and, personally, after 18 years, I am tired of the interests that clash in the shadows and which, precisely because they are not clear, try to fabricate other causes for the decisions taken.

Therefore, I clarify that I will, in due course, present a request in Civil Court for the legal dissolution of the National Civil Intervention Body.

Exercício BCN SAR LIVEX 2025 - 1.ª Edição Durante a realização do Exercício BCN SAR LIVEX 2025 - 1.ª Edição, que teve entre os dais 5 e 7 do passado mês de setembro, uma das componentes em teste foi a área Telecomunicações. Para o efeito foi instalada uma estação de Radidoamador para operar as bandas dos 40 e 20 metros, bem como VHF e UHF. O objetivo de instalação de um estação num cenário de emergência, como foi simulado durante os dias de realização do exercício, procurou avaliar as capacidades de uma estação de radioamador em situação de emergência. Para candidatura a esta função o candidato deve evidenciar as seguintes competências:

1. Conhecimentos nas áreas de tecnologias de informação e comunicação na ótica do utilizador;
2. Experiência na área de gestão administrativa

Missão

O Chefe do Departamento de Assuntos Humanitários tem por missão fundamental acompanhar a situação internacional, em matéria de emergências humanitárias, e contribuir para a mobilização dos meios do Corpo Nacional de Intervenção Civil em situação de missões internacionais.

Funções

Integrado na especialidade de Assuntos Humanitários o elemento a selecionar terá, entre outras, as seguintes responsabilidades :

- Acompanhar a situação internacional em matéria de ajuda humanitárias e de emergência;
- Dar conhecimento ao Comando Nacional, através da estrutura de comando, da realidade internacional em matérias de ajuda humanitária e de emergência;
- Elaborar projetos de ofício a remeter a entidades externas relativamente a assuntos de ajuda humanitária e ajuda de emergência, e submetê-los superiormente;
- Contribuir para a formação dos recursos humanos do Corpo Nacional de Intervenção Civil em relação às questões relacionadas com ajuda humanitária e ajuda de emergência;
