📢 REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) – Biodiversity Beyond National Jurisdiction (BBNJ) Legal Gap Analysis Consultancy

The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and the Environment invites qualified consultants, firms, and institutions to submit proposals for a Biodiversity Beyond National Jurisdiction (BBNJ) Legal Gap Analysis Consultancy (Phase 1).

As the first country to ratify the BBNJ Agreement, Palau continues to demonstrate leadership in global ocean governance. This consultancy will support the review of national legislation, policies, and institutional frameworks to ensure effective implementation of the BBNJ Agreement and strengthen the sustainable management of marine biodiversity beyond national jurisdiction.

📅 Key Dates:
• Inquiries Due: June 9, 2026
• Expression of Interest: June 16, 2026
• Proposal Submission Deadline: June 19, 2026

Interested parties are encouraged to review the full RFP and submit their proposals before the deadline.

Together, we can strengthen ocean governance and advance Palau's commitment to protecting our shared marine heritage for future generations.
