US Military Group Chief LCDR Lelah and CDA Rao, alongside the Minister of Justice, Minister of Public Infrastructure and Industries, National Security Coordinator, Director of the Bureau of Public Safety, and other officials, conducted a transfer ceremony for Title 10 U.S.C. Section 333 Building Partner Capacity equipment. The transfer included K-9 unit equipment, aviation support assets, crash and rescue equipment, automotive repair and diagnostic tools, and other resources totaling nearly $2 million.

This transfer further strengthens and formalizes the continued partnership between the United States and Palau.

National Police Week honors the bravery, service, and unwavering dedication of Palau’s law enforcement officers who proudly serve our nation every day.

RPPL 10-9 launched the partnership between the Palau Community College and the Ministry of Justice in training and certifying Fire Fighters to become full-fledged certified Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT). This has been a game changer as our fire fighters are now trained to administer on-site emergency treatment at initial response and on the way to the Emergency Room. Since the inception of this initiative, the provision of certified medical technicians as part of the ambulance response has saved countless lives.
