In this Moroccan-inspired concept, glazed zellige tiles catch the light, carved walnut adds depth, and warm plaster provides a quiet backdrop. Linen, wool and olive-toned upholstery soften the stone and brass, showing how contrasting textures can create a cohesive interior.

Al Meera – University Street, Doha

AIDC was commissioned to reimagine Al Meera’s University Street location as a phased retail development designed to maintain continuous operations throughout construction. The proposal introduced a new supermarket in Phase One, followed by a second phase comprising an anchor store, smaller retail units, and a 300-space underground car park.
AIDC led the architectural and interior design in collaboration with the local AOR and structural engineering team.

In a strategic partnership with a local investor, AIDC and its USA-based sister company, PFVS International, have developed a comprehensive proposal for a mixed-use development in Muscat, Oman. The project is designed to encompass a retail mall with adjacent residential towers, spread across a total area of 9,360 sqm. This versatile development is specifically aimed at creating a high-quality, enhanced lifestyle destination for the local community.

AIDC was commissioned to design and build four Buckhead Pizza outlets across Atlanta and surrounding areas, starting with a flagship location in a shopping strip. Each site was tailored to reflect the brand’s casual dining identity, with a focus on warm materials, efficient kitchen layouts, and inviting customer zones. The turnkey scope included interior design, custom furniture, signage, and back-of-house planning, delivered with consistency across all locations.

Inspired by ocean waves and the interplay of sun, water, air and earth, Qatarium is envisioned as an aquarium where architecture connects visitors with the marine world. Its sweeping forms integrate proposed strategies for solar energy, traditional malqaf wind-catching, seawater cooling and rammed-earth construction. Immersive tanks, underwater passageways and a proposed sea-viewing enclosure bring the experience of marine life into the heart of the design.

AIDC successfully delivered a design-and-build extension comprising a new G+1 wing for an existing school. Integrating modern indoor and outdoor learning spaces, the development expanded the school’s capacity while creating a more engaging and connected educational environment for students.
