شاركت وزارة الاتصالات وتكنولوجيا المعلومات في الاجتماع الـ28 للجنة التنفيذية للحكومة الرقمية بدول مجلس التعاون الخليجي، الذي عُقد برئاسة مملكة البحرين.

تناول الاجتماع استعراض مستجدات مبادرات الحكومة الرقمية على مستوى دول المجلس، وبحث سبل تعزيز التعاون المشترك في مجالات التحول الرقمي، ومتابعة تنفيذ المشاريع والبرامج الرقمية ذات الأولوية بما يدعم مسيرة التكامل الرقمي الخليجي.

The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology participated in the 28th GCC Digital Government Executive Committee Meeting, held under the chairmanship of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The meeting reviewed the latest developments in digital government initiatives across GCC member states, discussed ways to strengthen joint cooperation in digital transformation, and followed up on the implementation of priority digital programs and projects, advancing the region's digital integration agenda.

استقبل سعادة السيد محمد بن علي المناعي، وزير الاتصالات وتكنولوجيا المعلومات، معالي المهندس أحمد الدرديري غندور، وزير التحول الرقمي والاتصالات بجمهورية السودان الشقيقة، والوفد المرافق له، وذلك بحضور سعادة السيد بدر الدين عبدالله محمد أحمد، سفير جمهورية السودان لدى الدولة.

وجرى خلال اللقاء بحث سبل تعزيز التعاون الثنائي بين البلدين في مجالات الاتصالات وتكنولوجيا المعلومات والتحول الرقمي، إلى جانب استعراض أبرز المبادرات والمشاريع المتعلقة بتطوير البنية التحتية الرقمية. كما ناقش الجانبان فرص تبادل الخبرات والتجارب في المجالات المشتركة بما يسهم في دعم جهود التحول الرقمي في البلدين الشقيقين.

H.E. Mr. Mohammed bin Ali Al Mannai, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, received His Excellency Eng. Ahmed Al-Dirdiri Ghandour, Minister of Digital Transformation and Communications of the Republic of the Sudan, and the accompanying delegation, in the presence of His Excellency Badr Eldin Abdullah Mohammed Ahmed, Ambassador of the Republic of the Sudan to the State of Qatar.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the fields of communications, information technology, and digital transformation, in addition to reviewing key initiatives and projects related to the development of digital infrastructure. The two sides also explored opportunities for exchanging expertise and experiences in areas of mutual interest, contributing to supporting digital transformation efforts in both brotherly countries.

Qatar’s vision to build a thriving knowledge-based digital economy is driven by empowering enterprises and enhancing competitiveness.

In this context, the SMEs Go Digital program reflects our commitment to supporting small and medium-sized enterprises in adopting modern technologies and strengthening their capabilities to effectively navigate digital transformation.

SMEs are not merely part of the economic ecosystem; they are a key driver of Qatar’s economic diversification and readiness for the digital future.
