Ministry of Interior (Civil Defense) signed a contract with International Gulf Trading Company WLL – Fire Extinguisher Division for the supply of 6KG Dry Chemical Powder Oryx Fire Extinguisher, a locally manufactured product.” Prior to the contract signing, a sample of the extinguisher was given to MOI for sample for testing. It passed and was accepted based on their specification and requirement.” Mr. Maged Hassaballah, Sales Manager said. Oryx Fire Extinguisher also offers high-quality foam extinguisher, portable & mobile carbon dioxide extinguisher and conforms to International Standards – European Kitemark and Ministry of Interior – Civil Defense.

Qatar Shell recently did a factory visit at International Gulf Trading Company – Fire Extinguisher Division that manufactures Oryx Fire Extinguisher. Ms. Foteini Nikolopoulou – HSSE Manager and Mr. David Pattinson - Emergency Response Coordinator were welcome by Mr. Maged Hassabalah – Sales Manager and conducted a company presentation for the general products & services the company has to offer. Mr. Zaher Aboudaher – Maintenance Manager showed the company’s Service Center where they do the service and Maintenance of fire extinguisher. A step by step demonstration on how service and maintenance was conducted as well. Mr. Gerrit Ellerman – Operation Manager for the fire extinguisher division presented the assembly line where the actual fire extinguisher of different ranges is assembled as per European standard. A trained technician manned the automated assembly line to produce the fire extinguisher. The Oryx Fire extinguisher goes to a series of quality check before it will be packed and be delivered to customer.
