Staff from the Singapore Embassy in Doha participated in the ASEAN Committee in Doha's Dragon Boat Race on Saturday, 16 May 2026, which was kindly organised by the Indonesian and Philippine Embassies.

While individual physical strength and conditioning of team members are important, what ultimately delivers success in dragonboat is teamwork and the ability to work in unison. The ASEAN team spirit was very much evident as ASEAN Embassies in Qatar came together to paddle as one, aptly reflecting this year's ASEAN theme: "Navigating Our Future, Together". As everyone powered our boats forward, we are reminded that our collective strength lies in unity, cooperation, and a shared sense of purpose.
