Join us for the screening of Three Oceans Advocates an inspiring documentary that follows three individuals dedicated to the fight for protecting the world’s oceans. The short-film highlights the power of grassroots activism and emphasizes the need for conservation efforts. Attendees will experience compelling storytelling and breathtaking visuals while gaining a deeper understanding on how individual actions can drive significant environmental change. The documentary will be followed by an engaging dialogue on plastic pollution with an expert in the field. This is an opportunity to connect with young leaders passionate about sustainability preservation!

This initiative is in line with Qatar Sustainability Week, from 28th September to 5th October 2024.

Get ready for the Future of Summit: Hadaba Edition, hosted by the visionary Hadaba initiative of the College of Public Policy at Hamad Bin Khalifa University. The three-day event taking place from 22-24 September, will parallel the UN’s Summit of the Future: Multilateral Solutions for a Better Tomorrow’ in New York, focusing on supporting the path Towards a Pact for the Future.

The Global Shapers Community Doha Hub will actively participate in the World Cafe, engaging in discussions on a range of pivotal themes; transforming education, digitization, beyond GDP, Outer Space, Future generations and youth engagement, emergency platform and a new agenda for peace.

The summit is more than just an event - it’s a movement! It offers dynamic, interactive, and collaborative platform designed to inspire and mobilize students from K-12 to university levels, as well as professionals from both public and private sectors.

We are happy to announce the new leadership team for the Global Shapers Doha Hub 2023-2024!

The Global Shapers Doha Hub is excited to begin the new year with its monthly hub meeting! We reflected on our achievements in the past year and planned to make 2023 an exceptional year for the hub with several upcoming projects!

Doha Shapers monthly meeting! It was great catching up with the team and we have some exciting projects coming up for the FIFA World Cup!

We had an engaging meeting with our new volunteers and introduced them to previous hub members. The hub members discussed projects related to the upcoming FIFA 2022 World Cup and Education & Equity. We are excited to showcase the outcome of all the impactful projects we are working on!

On this our shapers have special messages for all the women out there. Happy !

We got back to our ways today after a long break. This is part of our ongoing effort to raise awareness about plastic pollution in our city. While being outdoors & enjoying the lovey weather, it is incumbent on us to mind our trash & maintain cleanliness in our surroundings.

We finally met in person with our new passionate volunteers and had a constructive discussion on designing projects in the areas of Environment, Education, & Equity. Lots of exciting updates coming your way.
