The Qatar Parliament in Doha last night endorsed Tonga's Parliament Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Standing Committee Hon. Dr. 'Uhilamoelangi Fasi as new GOPAC Oceania Chair. The Secretary of the Global Organisation of Parliamentarians Against Corruption (GOPAC) John Hyde revealed this during day one of the Anti-Corruption workshop for the MPs yesterday. Hon. Dr. Fasi replaces late Lord Fusitu'a in the role who passed away earlier this year.
