The gap at the top of a wall is where fire and smoke spread first. A head of wall joint has to stay sealed even as the slab above it moves.

Manycon’s in-house crews install firestop for linear joints across Qatar:

Head of wall joints between blockwork and the slab soffit
Expansion joints that allow for structural and thermal movement
Fire-rated joint sealants applied over the correct backing material, at the correct depth

An FM-200 system only protects the room if the room holds the gas. Integrity testing proves that it does before handover.

Manycon provides testing and certification across Qatar:

FM-200 room integrity testing: door fan testing to ISO 14520 / NFPA 2001, with hold-time calculation, leak identification, sealing recommendations and re-test
PRV installation: pressure relief vents sized to protect the enclosure during discharge
Thermographic imaging: infrared surveys that locate air leakage, insulation gaps and heat loss

Every test ends with a certified report that is ready for consultant review and project handover. Where leaks are found, our firestop crews can seal them, so you don’t need a second contractor.

Manycon applies glass-reinforced plastic lining across Qatar using its own crews:

Potable water tanks, with lining grades suitable for drinking water
Manholes, chambers and inspection pits
Sumps and drainage structures
Secondary containment areas

The lining forms a seamless, jointless barrier that resists leaks, corrosion and chemical attack. Before lamination, every surface is properly prepared. Layers are then built up to the specified system and inspected before handover.

Method statements, material submittals and test records are prepared for consultant approval.

Before coring or cutting into a live slab, wall or column, we use GPR to scan the concrete and locate rebar, post-tension tendons, conduits and services. Locations are marked out on the surface first, so the core or cut goes where it's needed and nothing else is damaged.
