🇦🇿🇷🇴 Ambasada Republicii Azerbaidjan în România a participat la evenimentul Senate Junior, găzduit la Palatul Parlamentului de către Senatul României.
Pentru a marca această zi specială, Ambasada a amenajat un stand colorat și interactiv, dedicat prezentării culturii, istoriei și tradițiilor Azerbaidjanului pentru micii noștri prieteni și oaspeți.
La mulți ani de Ziua Internațională privind Protecția Copilului!
🇬🇧The Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Romania participated in the “Senate Junior” event, hosted at the Palace of the Parliament by the Romanian Senate.
To celebrate this special day, the Embassy set up a colorful and interactive stand dedicated to showcasing the rich culture, history, and traditions of Azerbaijan to our young friends and guests.

🇷🇴 Studentele de la Universitatea ADA din Baku Narmin Ahmadova și
Gulay Gurbanova, aflate într-un program de schimb academic la Universitatea Româno-Americană în București, au organizat un eveniment dedicat promovării istoriei bogate, patrimoniului cultural și realizărilor moderne ale Azerbaidjanului.
Evenimentul a reunit membri ai comunității academice, studenți internaționali și invitați, creând un spațiu valoros pentru dialog intercultural și prietenie internațională.
Reprezentând Ambasada Republicii Azerbaidjan în România, consilierul Fakhri Karimli a evidențiat relațiile solide dintre Azerbaidjan și România, subliniind rolul important al tinerilor în consolidarea cooperării internaționale. Totodată, Prorectorul RAU, Prof. Univ. Dr. Habil. Tudor Edu, a apreciat inițiativa și contribuția sa semnificativă la promovarea înțelegerii culturale și a conexiunilor globale.
Pe parcursul evenimentului, participanții au avut oportunitatea de a descoperi momente importante din parcursul Azerbaidjanului spre independență, precum și moștenirea durabilă a Liderului Național Heydar Aliyev. Prezentarea a evidențiat, de asemenea, dezvoltarea modernă a țării sub conducerea președintelui Ilham Aliyev și rolul Azerbaidjanului ca gazdă a unor evenimente internaționale majore, precum COP29, Formula 1 și Eurovision Song Contest.
Evenimentul s-a încheiat cu reflecții inspiraționale din partea studenților Erasmus despre importanța prieteniei dintre națiuni și cuvintele profunde ale Liderului Național Heydar Aliyev: „Întotdeauna am fost mândru și astăzi sunt, de asemenea, mândru că sunt azerbaidjean.”
🇬🇧Students from ADA University Narmin Ahmadova and Gulay Gurbanova, currently on an exchange program at the Romanian-American University (RAU), organized an event to showcase Azerbaijan’s rich history, cultural heritage, and modern achievements.
The event was attended by RAU academic staff, international students, and guests. Representing the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Romania, Counsellor Fakhri Karimli emphasized the strong bonds between Azerbaijan and Romania and highlighted the vital role youth play in international cooperation. RAU Vice-Rector, Ph.D. Habil. Professor Tudor Edu also praised the initiative for its significant contribution to intercultural dialogue and global friendship.
Throughout the program, participants learned about Azerbaijan's journey to independence and the lasting legacy of National Leader Heydar Aliyev. The event also spotlighted the country's modern economic development under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, noting its role as a host for major global events like COP29, Formula 1, and the Eurovision Song Contest. Following moving speeches from Erasmus students on the importance of international friendship.
The event concluded with the profound words of National Leader Heydar Aliyev: “I have always been proud, and today I am also proud that I am Azerbaijani.”

🇷🇴Ambasada Republicii Azerbaidjan în România a organizat o recepție oficială la București pentru a celebra Ziua Independenței Republicii Azerbaidjan, marcată la data de 28 mai.
Evenimentul a reunit membri ai Parlamentului României, reprezentanți ai guvernului, ai corpului diplomatic, precum și reprezentanți ai comunității azerbaidjene.
În cadrul evenimentului, au susținut discursuri Ambasadorul Republicii Azerbaidjan în România, Gudsi Osmanov; Mircea Abrudean, Președintele Senatui României; Vlad Ionescu, Consilier de Stat în cadrul Administrației Prezidențiale a României; Ana Tinca, Secretar de Stat în Ministerul Afacerilor Externe al României; Marian Neacșu, Președintele Grupului Interparlamentar de Prietenie cu Republicii Azerbaidjan; precum și Emil Constantinescu, fostul Președinte al României.
În timpul celebrării, a fost prezentată o incursiune vibrantă în muzica tradițională, gastronomia și potențialul turistic al Azerbaidjanului. De asemenea, oaspeții au explorat o expoziție foto specială ce a reflectat statalitatea azerbaidjană, relațiile bilaterale cu România, procesul de reconstrucție din Karabah, precum și proiectele energetice prezentate alături de SOCAR Petroleum S.A.
Adresăm mulțumirile noastre sincere tuturor distinșilor oaspeți care ni s-au alăturat pentru a marca această zi istorică și pentru a consolida, o dată în plus, legăturile dintre națiunile noastre!
🇬🇧 The Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Romania hosted an official reception in Bucharest to celebrate May 28 – Independence Day of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The event brought together members of the Romanian parliament, government representatives, the diplomatic corps, and the representatives of Azerbaijani community.
Within the framework of the event, speeches were delivered by the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Romania Gudsi Osmanov; Mircea Abrudean, President of the Romanian Senate; Vlad Ionescu, State Adviser to the Romanian Presidential Administration; Ana Tinca, Secretary of State from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romanian; Marian Neacșu, Chairman of the Interparliamentary Friendship Group with the Republic of Azerbaijan; as well as Emil Constantinescu, the former President of Romania.
During the celebration, a vibrant showcase of traditional Azerbaijani music, cuisine, and tourism potential was presented. Guests also explored a special photo exhibition showcasing Azerbaijani statehood, bilateral relations with Romania, the restoration process in Karabakh, and energy projects presented alongside SOCAR Petroleum S.A.
