🇺🇸🎨 Celebrating America’s 250th Anniversary Through Art and Democracy!

At the initiative of the U.S. Embassy in Bucharest, American Corners across Romania and their audiences came together virtually for a second engaging session in collaboration with the Smithsonian American Art Museum.

Participants embarked on a fascinating journey through early American history, exploring how democracy took shape and how its ideals and evolution are reflected in works of art. Through art, history, and thoughtful discussion, we discovered new perspectives on America’s democratic journey. 🖼️✨

A heartfelt thank-you to the U.S. Embassy for making this initiative possible, to volunteer docent Sara Shoob for guiding us through this inspiring experience, and to all our participants for their curiosity, enthusiasm, and fantastic conversation!

Here’s to celebrating 250 years of American history, culture, and democratic ideals together! 🎉🇺🇸

🏅 Sports Diplomacy in Action! 🇺🇸🤝🇷🇴

On October 16, we were delighted to organize a Sports Diplomacy event in collaboration with the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport—a celebration of sportsmanship, teamwork, and collaboration, reflecting the U.S. commitment to fostering people-to-people connections through sport.

We were pleased to welcome students and physical education teachers from Colegiul Național Militar „Alexandru Ioan Cuza,” Colegiul Național „Mihai Eminescu,” Liceul Internațional de Informatică, and Liceul Teoretic „Ovidius.” Their enthusiasm, team spirit, and impressive performances made the event truly special, with matches showcasing a remarkable level of skill and competitive spirit.

A heartfelt thank-you to Professor Melenco, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport, as well as to the Faculty’s professors and student volunteers, for making this event possible by generously sharing their expertise, facilities, and equipment.

We are equally grateful to all the participants for their energy, dedication, and outstanding sportsmanship. Special thanks to Professor Andreea Badea for capturing these memorable moments! 📸

It was a genuine joy to see sport bringing people together. We look forward to building on this success and organizing future events on an even larger scale.

After all, sports diplomacy is about more than competition—it’s about building friendships, strengthening connections, and creating lasting bonds beyond the game. 🏆

5 echipe - 5 premii - 5 calificări
World Robot Olympiad, etapa regională, Piatra Neamț, 30 mai 2026
