This week, frontline veterinarians and park rangers from Volcanoes National Park completed training on Ebola preparedness and response mechanisms, with a focus on protecting Rwanda’s mountain gorillas.
The training is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen wildlife health surveillance and disease prevention across Rwanda’s protected areas.

Yesterday, RDB CEO Jean-Guy Afrika met with a delegation from The Boeing Company led by Amine Benkirane, Marketing Director for Commercial Airplanes in Africa and the Middle East, for discussions on aviation, logistics, and opportunities to support Rwanda’s regional connectivity and growth ambitions.
The engagement also explored developments in aircraft financing, cargo operations, export market connectivity, and opportunities to further position Rwanda as a regional aviation and tourism hub.

At the BAL Innovation Summit in Kigali, the Basketball Africa League President Amadou Gallo Fall reflected on the BAL’s investment in grassroots basketball development, operational excellence and governance as key drivers of long term growth across Africa’s basketball ecosystem.

A conversation on sports branding, partnerships and the continued growth of African sports ecosystems took place at the the BAL Innovation Summit in Kigali, with Rwanda Basketball Federation (FERWABA) Vice President Mugwaneza Pascale joined by Allison Feaster, Vice President of Team Operations and Organisation Growth at the WNBA (Women's National Basketball Association), and Jessica Motaung, Marketing and Commercial Director at Kaizer Chiefs.
