In TTC Save PRISM organized a two-day training from 18th to 19th January 2025 with tutors from 16 TTCs teaching Mathematics,Integrated Science and Teaching Method and Practice (TMP). Training is aiming to strengthen tutors' capacities to effectively use ICT in teaching and learning as well as assessment activities to improve learning outcomes.

To reflect on its first year of rollout phase , effectively plan for the second year as well as strengthen tutors’ capacity in integrating ICT in teaching, learning and assessment, PRISM is conducting its sixth Digital Exercises Development Workshop with TTC leaders and tutors

4th Digital Exercise Development Workshop was conducted with tutors, DOS and IT Managers in January. From this workshop, participants will improve their skills in developing effective digital exercises and enhance use of e-learning platform.

mission led by the Director of Human Development from Japan alongside with PRISM project team members conducted a joint field visit to TTC Zaza, Ngoma District, on 9th December. The purpose of the visit was to monitor the progress of project activities. The TTC demonstrated active utilization of e-learning platform, which has brought a change in students’ learning style. The Director of Human Development appreciated TTC Zaza for the warm welcome and for their achievements in the use of the e-learning platform in Teaching and Learning and Assessment.

PRISM project started to roll out the activities to all 16 TTCs countrywide in this school year from October 2023. The project organized the 3rd Digital Exercises Development workshop for 4 days from 18th to 19th and from 25th to 26th November. The Principals, DoS, IT managers and Tutors of Math, Integrated Sciences and TMP Math/SET from 16 TTCs participated it. During this workshop, participants were equipped with skills to use e-learning platform in teaching, learning and assessment. As soon as they returned to the TTCs, some prepared formative assessment quizzes for lessons and others facilitated students’ self-learning with the e-learning platform.
