Boys and Girls Brigade Shyira Diocese

Boys and Girls Brigade started expanding and growing where it came into Africa and more particularly Rwanda where it arrived in the Diocese of Gahini brought by Missionaries of ‘Church Missionary Society’ in 1935.

After Gahini, the following years it expanded in all parts of the country, then it came in Shyira Diocese Parish of Shyira one of the founders of Boys and Girls Brigade named below Canon NSABIMANA Jean Damascene Canon NDIMKAGA and Canon RUZINDANA Emmanuel After starting Boys and Girls Brigade there has many challenges and led to some down fall in 1975 it was restarted again by The Retired Archbishop Emmanuel Mbona Kolini at Cathedral St. Etienne and Remera Parish with the support from some members of Boys and Girls Brigade of Uganda and Kenya.
