Last week, the Consul GeneraI ; Dr. Abdul Rahman Adam paid a courtesy call on the CEO of Makkah Chamber of Commerce to explore ways of exploring opportunities for Ghana’s products and services.
The is one of the many visits the CJ is paying to the captains of Industry in Saudi Arabia to identify areas of collaboration and partnerships for the mutual benefit for both Saudi and Ghana.

On behalf of the President of Najran University, Dr. Badr Al-Shahri, Vice President of the University for Educational Affairs, received the Consul General of the Republic of Ghana, Dr. Abdul Rahman Adam, along with the accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, cordial conversations were exchanged, and topics of mutual interest were discussed.
The meeting discussed aspects of research and educational cooperation between the university and Ghanaian universities.
The Consul General also toured the Advanced Materials and Nanoresearch Center, where he was introduced to the center’s specialized and unique equipment, which enables high-precision imaging of the internal structure of materials and their components, thereby supporting advanced research and scientific innovation.

The President of the Islamic University Dr. Saleh bin Ali Al-Aqla received His Excellency the Consul General of the Republic of Ghana, Dr. Abdulrahman Adam, and the accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, they discussed areas of academic and research cooperation, as well as topics of mutual interest between the two sides.

Consulate of Ghana 🇬🇭 in Jeddah, holds a meeting with the Ghanian community in Jeddah.
On Friday, the 7th of November 2025, H.E Dr. Adam Abdul-Rahaman, Consul-General of the Republic of Ghana in Jeddah held a meeting with the Ghanaian community in the Jeddah province at the Consulate.
This is the second meeting with the community since his assumption of duty in April, 2025. It serves as one of the many engagements H.E has started to strengthen the Consulates relationship with the community.
One of the key highlights of the meeting was the discussions on the Key Performance Indicators recently launched by the President of Ghana, H.E. John Dramani Mahama.
He also gave an update on consular services available to the community that they may take advantage of reminding participants that the Consulate is there to see to their wellfare.
The meeting was well attended by the Ghanaian community with the leadership of the association expressing gratitude for the Consulate’s open door policy that allows the community unrestricted access to the Consulate

Consul General Pays a Courtesy Visit to the Governor of Madinah.
Dr. Adam Abdul-Rahaman paid a courtesy visit to Prince Salman bin Sultan; Governor of Madinah.
They discussed topics of mutual interest while aknowledging the long standing relations between the two countries.
This diplomatic meeting is intended to strengthen the good relations between Ghana and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Introducing H.E Dr. Adam Abdul-Rahaman; Consul-General of the Consulate of Ghana in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The Consul-General, H. E. Dr. Adam Abdul-Rahaman was born in Tamale in the Norther Region of Ghana and attended Tamale Senior High, Tamale-Ghana, University of Cape Coast, Cape Coast-Ghana, University of Ghana, LECIAD-Ghana, SMC University, Zurich-Switzerland and Zanith University College, Accra-Ghana
The Consul-General holds a Doctorate degree in Political Economy, an M.A in International Relations, a Bachelor of Laws (LLB), a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and Religions as well as a certificate in Human Resources Planning and Development from the Institute of Applied Manpower Research in New Delhi, India.
H.E. Dr. Adam is a career diplomat, serving in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Ghana. Prior to being appointed to his current position as Consul-General of the Republic of Ghana in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, he served in Ghana Embassy in Brussels, Belgium from 2012 to 2016, Ghana Embassy in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso from 2018 to 2023 as the Head of Chancery, and an Officer-In-Charge, Director at the Accra Passport Application Center (Accra PAC) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 2023 until 2025.
H.E. Dr. Adam Abdul-Rahaman loves reading, watching movies and spending time with the family. He is married with four children.
