‏On the sidelines of the 80th UN General Assembly, the ⁦‪ ‬⁩ & ⁦‪ ‬⁩ Presidencies are working on a joint roadmap to tackle environmental challenges and protect lands including improving rangeland management and sustainability.

‏During ⁦‪ ‬⁩, Saudi Arabia’s Presidency of ⁦‪ ‬⁩ met with Brazil’s Presidency of ⁦‪ ‬⁩. Both sides stressed the need to align climate and desertification agendas to drive sustainable land investment and strengthen cooperation against global challenges.

The COP16 Presidency is highlighting its global efforts to protect and restore land, and to combat drought, during United Nations meetings.
