✨ Building Community Understanding for Land Transfer Processes ✨

During recent visits to Western Province, communities in Olasana and Varu shared a common belief: that land held under deceased relatives remained secure in their families without any further action.

Through hands-on awareness sessions, SITHP teams worked closely with families to explain the legal requirements for land title transfers, including the importance of transferring Perpetual Estate titles within the required timeframes.

These practical discussions helped to clarify common misconceptions, helping communities better understand their rights and begin taking the necessary steps to secure their land.

By improving access to clear and accurate information, communities are better able to protect their land and benefit from future development opportunities.

✨ Unlocking Tourism Starts with Land Clarity ✨

SITHP teams are working with communities in Western Province to clarify land ownership and support the transfer of Perpetual Estate titles.

This work is an essential step in preparing sites like Olasana and Varu for future tourism investment, and ensuring that land is legally secure, clearly documented, and ready for opportunity.

Through practical, hands-on sessions and ongoing support, families are now gaining a better understanding of the process and taking active steps to gather the required documents and initiate transfers.

By strengthening land clarity today, communities lay the foundation for future economic opportunities and tourism development.
