The is connecting more farmers to the market!

“The biggest challenges in providing shipping services to remote parts of Solomon Islands…are unpredictable weather conditions and limited infrastructure. This Partnership with Australia has enabled us to purchase a new crane, which is critical to the vessel’s operations. It allows us to efficiently load and offload produce, improving reliability. With this, farmers can have greater confidence that vessels will call at ports as scheduled and their produce will be collected.” - Joy Isihanua Ririmae, Managing Director, Franjti Shipping Ltd

This is another example of the partnering with local businesses to improve market access for more farmers to earn higher incomes and employ more Solomon Islanders 🇦🇺🤝🇸🇧
