Sudanese Diaspora Welcome the Nairobi Declaration

Welcome to the Nairobi Declaration, a historic milestone towards peace and democracy in Sudan. We, community leaders and activists from Sudan around the world, warmly welcome this landmark agreement signed by Abdul Wahid al-Nur, Abdelaziz al-Hilu, and Abdalla Hamdok, under the supportive leadership of William Ruto, President of Kenya.

We commend these visionary leaders for their courage and commitment to ending the war and establishing a democratic state founded on equal citizenship rights. We urge all parties to join this declaration, come together for a holistic discussion on the new social contract through the Sudani-Sudani dialogue, and work towards a peaceful and inclusive Sudan. We call on the US, African Union, EU, and UN to support this agreement and provide necessary tools and resources for peace and stability in Sudan.
