How are Papercast's e-paper displays built to last?
#1 Inherent longevity
E Ink is the sole manufacturer of e-paper technology globally. It's technology operates for at least 40 million content updates.
Given an extreme scenario of 2,000 updates per day, that equates to 20,000 days (over 54 years).
Factor in temperature and humidity in outdoor environments, we estimate the lifespan to be 12 years.
