To strengthen awareness about the welfare schemes and support mechanisms meant for Senior Citizens, sensitization programmes under the Atal Vayo Abhyuday Yojana were organized at Shangus and Nanil.
During the sessions, the rights of Senior Citizens as provided under the MWPSC Act, 2007 were explained comprehensively.

A mega awareness program on child protection & social welfare schemes was held today by SWD at GMS, Darbandi Magam under the supervision of DSWO. Students performed skits & cultural programs highlighting & the ill effects of child marriage.

Under campaign at Mattan,SW dept distributed sports kits & recreational items under BBBP On-spot sanction letters under State Marriage Assistance Scheme (SMAS) and Integrated Social Security Scheme (ISSS) were also given to eligible beneficiaries

Today, children of Palaash Nanil Anantnag went on a picnic to Pahalgam Park and participated in a cleanliness drive under the theme ‘Ek Din, Ek Ghanta, Ek Saath – Shramdaan’, promoting collective environmental responsibility.

As part of the ongoing campaign, DSWO Sh. Malik Muzaffar distributed ISSS sanction letters among the eligible beneficiaries at HSS Aishmuqam. He also supervised the ongoing awareness campaign regarding social security schemes.
