Planet shark jaw exhibit is now at Jurong East Library! Go see the Tiger and Bull shark there!
All things Sharks! It is also our expressed intention to highlight the catastrophic effect over-fishing is having on shark populations worldwide.
Planet Shark will take visitors on a journey of engaging discovery – presenting facts, dispelling myths, educating about conservation and creating empathy for one of the most misunderstood animals on earth. It is Planet Shark’s goal for visitors to leave the exhibit enriched by their journey and in awe of the shark’s 450 million-year reign in the ocean.

Otodus obliqua (Oh-toe-dus ob-leeka) was one of the earliest megatooth sharks and thought to be the ancestor of Megalodon. Otodus appeared between 60 to 100 million years ago around the time of the dinosaurs.

Bull sharks are common along tropical and subtropical coasts around the world and are often found in fresh water. They tend to cruise close the sea floor preferring water less than 30m or 100 feet deep. They give birth to between one and thirteen live pups annually and usually give birth in estuaries or rivers.
Planet Shark is a journey into the world of the shark. It is a story of evolution, of form and function and of the significance of the shark in our world today. Take your time to explore and learn more about these amazing animals, their importance to us, and their contribution to shaping the world in which we live.
