Strengthening Partnerships with Pasir Ris Community Policing Unit Pasir Ris NPC

We were pleased to welcome the Commanding Officer of the Pasir Ris Community Policing Unit (CPU), along with his team of dedicated officers, to our Family Service Centre (FSC) on 9 June 2026.
Having worked closely together, this visit was a valuable opportunity to further strengthen our collaboration. It allowed our social workers, counsellors, and psychologist to connect with the officers, exchange insights, and deepen our shared understanding of the community’s needs.
We are grateful for the strong partnership between our organisations, which enables us to better support individuals and families through coordinated care and intervention. We look forward to continuing our meaningful collaboration with the Pasir Ris CPU team.

We were honoured to host Member of Parliament Valerie Lee at our Family Service Centre (FSC) on 4 June 2026.
During her visit, MP Valerie took time to engage with our team, gaining a deeper understanding of the work we do to support individuals and families in the community. We are grateful for her interest, encouragement, and continued support for social service efforts on the ground.
She also visited the temporary shelter at Changi Village, where she spoke warmly with two of our residents, listening to their experiences and offering words of encouragement. Her presence brought comfort and uplifted the spirits of those staying at the shelter.
We sincerely appreciate MP Valerie's commitment to the community and her dedication to supporting those in need.

Jointly organised with Home Nursing Foundation and COTE church, our Buangkok HDB JSS celebrated a joyous Chinese New Year lunch with our wonderful Buangkok residents!

The event was filled with laughter, delicious food, and a sense of community spirit as we came together to welcome the new year.

Residents enjoyed a variety of traditional dishes, shared festive greetings, and had the chance to connect with their neighbors in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It was a heartwarming celebration that brought everyone closer together.

A big thank you to all who joined us – here's to a prosperous and harmonious year ahead!

Pasir Ris Family Service Centre is now Good News Family Service Centre @ Pasir Ris!

From our humble beginnings as the only Family Service Centre in Pasir Ris, we have grown and evolved to meet the changing needs of our community. Over the years, we’ve expanded our services to include work with schools, communities, shelters, and HDB-JSS, among others.

Today, we’re proud to announce that all our services are now rebranded under Good News Community Services. Our commitment to building trust, compassion, and making a positive impact remains at the core of everything we do.

Our new logo, inspired by the warmth of the sun, aligns to our vision of creating a bridge to a hope-filled tomorrow. The three images in the logo are interwoven lines represent the unity of our diverse work, coming together as one organization. The open spaces in the design reflect the light and hope we bring to those facing dark days.
