🇱🇹 Last weekend, Lithuania’s Minister of National Defence, Robertas Kaunas, participated in the Shangri-La Dialogue in Singapore, Asia’s premier defence summit.

Addressing participants, Minister Kaunas emphasized that today’s security challenges transcend regional boundaries, making international cooperation a strategic necessity.

💬 “Hybrid pressure operating at the threshold of armed attack is not a challenge faced only by Europe. The same logic and structure, employing different tools, can also be observed in the Asia-Pacific region,” the Minister noted.

On the sidelines of the forum, Minister Kaunas met with U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, leadership of the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, and the Defence Ministers of Singapore, Australia, and Japan.

To strengthen practical defence cooperation, Singapore’s ST Engineering was officially invited to conduct testing of its advanced counter-drone system in Lithuania.

🇱🇹 Lithuania is honoured to participate in Asia Tech x Singapore (ATxSG) for the fourth consecutive year, one of Asia’s leading platforms for technology and digital innovation. ATxSG convenes global government representatives, technology leaders, innovators, and businesses to exchange views on developments at the intersection of technology, society, and the digital economy.

On this occasion, the Embassy of Lithuania in Singapore hosted an evening event bringing together representatives from government institutions, the innovation ecosystem, and the business community.

This year, Lithuania is represented by delegates from government institutions, including Tomas Misevicius, Director at State digital solutions agency and Jekaterina Kaliniene, Head of Life Sciences at Innovation Agency Lithuania, alongside participating business representatives. Interest from Lithuanian companies in Singapore and the wider Asia region continues to grow.

During the event, participants discussed Lithuania’s strengths in technology, innovation, as well as opportunities to further strengthen cooperation between Lithuania and Singapore.

Vakar vakaras Lietuvos ambasadoje dvelkė ramybe ir jaukumu – čia vyko autorės Ieva Anskaitiene knygos „Moters miego knyga“ pristatymo renginys, skirtas miego, poilsio ir emocinės gerovės temoms.

Renginys prasidėjo meditacijos sesija, skirta susikaupimui ir dėmesio nukreipimui į vidinę ramybę. Vėliau vyko knygos pristatymas ir diskusija apie miego reikšmę sveikatai, kasdieniams įpročiams bei gyvenimo kokybei.

Renginio metu dalyviai taip pat susipažino su „Eywa“ sąmoningo ir tvaraus maisto iniciatyva bei specialiai šiam vakarui sukurta ramybės arbata – simboliniu „poilsio eliksyru“, papildžiusiu vakaro programą.

Diskusijų metu aptarti praktiniai aspektai, susiję su miego kokybės gerinimu ir sąmoningo poilsio svarba šiuolaikinėje kasdienybėje.
